I've had this recorder for 4 years and successfully created DVD's using the Playlist facility, a fault has occured as follows:- I insert a DVD-R ( edited in my computer) into the recorder expecting it to show

'New Title on TV screen but instead it shows 'Formatting' and renders the disk unusable.The same thing happens when I put in a blank DVD-R or DVD+- R It then shows 'Dirty Disk'. Can anyone help please ?stproff.

Although I've had this recorder for 2 years I've only just decided to use the Playlist facililty ( I've just begone to make DVD's from a camcorder ) I follow the instructions on page 69 of handbook 1 to 8 But when I wsh to select the Playlist Title by pressing the yellow button ( GO TO ) the title flashes on the screen for less than a second and the Recorded switches completely off ! Can anyone suggest whats wrong ?
