I have a VPC11M1E for more than a year now, and lately I have problems with screen light. It goes "dark" as if it saves energy even when I am working. It only gets bright when I am typing. I have checked all settings but they are ok. Any ideas?

Sth else...when I first bought it & tried to register it, I was getting an error. The model was not recognized by Sony. However, on device it writes VPCF11M1E not VPCF11M1E/H. How's that and what is my model after all?
