    Anybody tried contacting Sony? At such a late hour now, I doubt it'll happen this month...?

    agreed but it wouldnt hurt for a sony rep to monitor this thread and let people know if this is the case, i strongly suspect this has not happened because they know the update is not ready and will not happen in time.

    identally sorted out the bad wifi connection by reducing wifi security to wep, just thought i would let you all know incase anyone is having same problem

    Sounds like an ok solution if you're in a less densely populated area, not sure I'd feel comfortable reducing my wifi security, as there are about 20 other flats in range :/

    theheadofabroom Did you do a hard reset?

     

    I've just tried to download it for the third time and each time it says it hasn't got enough room when in fact I've got over 6 GB free on the tablet!

    I just did a sytem update, not manually shut anything down. Not sure if you mean just switching it all the way off and then back on again, or actually reflashing the firmware, but I have done neither - I will try the former once I'm done catagorising launchers.

     

    Edit - on the space front - I keep all my media on a 32Gb Class10 SD card, so there was only Apps and settings on there
