Sony Bravia KDL46HX853 Can it be used without tilt stand?

I have a expensive stand which my current Sony tv is attached to via vesa mount and wouldn't want to change it. Can the KDL46HX853 be mounted this way or is the 6 degree angle critical for picture quality?

    Hi David,

    Welcome to Questions & Answers..

     

    According to the User Guide Sony the HX853 can be wall mounted & Sony recommend using the SU-WL500 Wall-Mount Bracket (sold separately)..
