Retuning TV to receive broadcast freeview HD channels

The auto tune function on my Sony KDL-32V4500 does not seem to be able to retune my TV to receive the freeview HD channels that are being transmitted in my area. Does anybody know why this is please?

    Hi alfredhenry and welcome.

     

    Freeview HD requires a separate, second DVB-T2 tuner which has only been included in the latest models of TVs.

     

    Unfortunately, you will need a Freeview HD set top box to view HD channels on your Bravia.
