Hi JJ
Very impressive shots.
I've KDL46HX923 , 06/2011 build ( 3rd replacement and previous 2 were awful) and the pictures are very similar to yours on Blueray and normal TV and very pleased with the set eve without calib. No creases, bright areas or bandindg etc.( I guess I am lucky with 3rd set). And also I've just received Sony PS3 and am waiting for my £150.00 cashback.
But I want to calibrate the TV. Do you think Disney WOW is the best choise of Bluray disk as I am about to order one from your link ?
Cheers

Any Help Please!!
when there is a uniformed light colour across the screen I have a definate dark band about 2 inches wide and 6 inches high just off centre. The Tv also shows light banding when watching sport. My retailer said that he would replace or alternatively I could swap for a Panasonic TX-P50VT30
Any suggestions
Hi,
well erm............. the Panasonic has its own set of problems so jumping from one set to another is a no in my book, clearly the new Sony is not right and you would do well to expect a replacement at this point, ask the dealer if there is somewhere in store you can inspect it before you take it to avoid any further disappointment.
