5 DJs you won’t want to miss

at TomorrowWorld 2015 music festival

TomorrowWorld is an American spin-off of Belgium’s Tomorrowland Music Festival, which will be taking place this September 25 – 27 in Atlanta, Georgia. There’s a reason why TomorrowWorld received a nomination for Best Music Event at the International Dance Music Awards. The event features hundreds of DJs (yes, hundreds), luxury camping, and is considered to be America’s largest 21 and up music festival. TomorrowWorld is famous for its spectacular, larger-than-life stages. Each has its own unique look and feel and boasts a “Disneyland-like” attention to detail. So, who are we most excited to see on this year’s festival lineup?

Check out these five phenomenal DJs who are bound to astound at this year’s TomorrowWorld Music Festival.

1. Adventure Club

This electronic dance music duo made up of Montreal natives

Leighton James and Christian Srigley is making tsunami-sized waves in the EDM world. Their signature sound is a blend of beautiful melodic dubstep with soulful female vocals. Grab your favorite pair of headphones and treat yourself to the goosebump-inducing track “Gold,” a collab with Malaysian singer-songwriter Yuna, for some serious ear candy.

2. Ferry Corsten

Dutch DJ Ferry Corsten is considered to be a trance producer pioneer.

He’s put out several classic trance tracks dating back to the 90s under aliases such as System F, Moonman and Gouryella, among others. Since then, he’s adopted a more general electronic music style, playing everything from electro to melodic trance. Check out this teaser of his latest release “Reborn” — and wait for that bass to drop!

3. Flux Pavilion

This British DJ has been laying down beats since 2008.

But he’s not just a master of the turntable. He also plays the drums, guitar, saxophone and piano! The major turning point for his career was a visit to a club in London called Fabric:

“I never went to clubs because I didn't feel accepted into that scene; it felt too showy, too well-groomed. Then I saw Rusko play at Fabric and it changed my perception of everything. He was jumping around wearing a big cardboard hat shaped like a bird playing the most outrageous music I had ever heard. I loved it."

5. Martin Garrix

If you’ve ever listened to the undeniably catchy track “Animals” (and who hasn’t?), then you’ve probably heard of this 19-year-old Dutch DJ and producer. “Animals” was a Top 10 hit in more than 10 countries, and the song has peaked at No. 1 in Belgium and the UK. Garrix considers DJ Tiësto to be the biggest influencer of his career. In fact, seeing Tiësto play at the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004 is what inspired Garrix to become a DJ in the first place.

4. Tiësto

He’s a veteran trance producer and household name

in the electronic dance music world. Tiësto was voted the World’s No. 1 DJ by DJ Magazine in its annual Top 100 DJs readership poll three years in a row from 2002 to 2004. He won a Grammy for his remixed version of John Legend's “All Of Me” at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards — and we’re sure it won’t be the last Grammy he’ll collect.

Those are our Top 5 DJ picks, though there’s plenty of other talent on this music festival lineup! Who are you most excited to see this year?
