I bought this product over five years ago, and I LOVE IT! From 4K UHD blu-ray to regular blu-ray discs, it makes old DVDs look and sound great! You play Super Audio CDs in multi-channel & 2-channel formats and it also plays CDs. Connect to an audio device via Bluetooth (I own a Panasonic SA-PMX150 stereo, which has Bluetooth in, and even with just 2 speakers films and tv come alive with this player.

Problème d'alimentation bien connu, mon lecteur est tombé en panne après la garantie. Je me suis renseigné et apparemment c'est irréparable car le fusible est introuvable, 350€ à la poubelle. (l'alimentation pète au bout d'un moment c'est inévitable) Dans le temps, j'ai eu des lecteurs chinois 1er prix, ils ne sont jamais tombés en panne Vous êtes prévenu, je suis quelqu'un de très soigneux et je n'ai pas beaucoup utilisé le produit et malgré cela, il est bon pour la déchetterie. Pour ce qui est de ses performances, il faut régler manuellement si on regarde un contenu Dolby Vison ou non, et il saute pendant le changement de couche des Blu-ray.

Ho comprato questo articolo nell'ottobre del 2024 e solo adesso che siamo a maggio 2025 (7 mesi dopo) sono riuscito ad avere il prodotto regolarmente funzionante dopo ben numerosi interventi dell'assistenza. Non leggeva i DVD. Faccio presente che il prodotto è stato reso funzionante dopo l'ultimo intervento perchè mi sono rivolto ad una Associazione di difesa del consumatore che ha velocizzato e fatto risolvere il problema

Ho acquistato il lettore come sostituzione del vecchio danneggiato. Dalle caratteristiche descritte ha molte tipologie di configurazione e utilizzo. I dati tecnici e prestazione del lettore nella sezione audio / video è soddisfacente per CD musicali e DVD.In futuro proverò le potenzialità del dispositivo con qualità AUDIO superiore come flac/hi-res/dsd e VIDEO come bluray/4k.Lo strumento è solido, silenzioso e menù dotato. Per utente esigente.

Acheté pour remplacer une bonne vieille platine cd Sony de 2000 qui fonctionnait encore parfaitement. Je voulais profiter du meilleur son possible via hdmi sur mon ampli HC yamaha, étendre les capacité de lecture aux sa-cd mais aussi étendre ce que sait déjà lire ma ps4 en incluant les blu-ray 4k et les dvd-audio en DSD direct sur l'ampli. Point + : répond à toutes ces attentes Point - : aucun afficheur sur le lecteur qui serait utile pour les cd et sa-cd (qui démarrent automatiquement sans allumer la tv) en affichant le numéro de piste par exemple. La télécommande pourrait être retro-eclairée. Pas de disney+ ni de prime vidéo proposés. Plus de mise a jour du système depuis 2022. Conclusion : Au top pour les supports physiques. Pas au niveau pour les fournisseurs en streaming.

Habe ihn schon öfter ausprobiert und funktioniert super und einwandfrei. Sollte man Probleme beim abspielen neuer uhd Blu Rays haben sollte man sie einmal vorsichtig mit einem Microfasertuch abwischen. Könnten Produktionsrückstände sein.

Soy un fan de coleccionar películas en formato digital, así que a contracorriente de la demanda general, me decidí por adquirir un equipo reproductor Blu-Ray con calidad 4K. Este equipo (a mi pesar), posiblemente sea de los últimos modelos que salgan al mercado por la baja demanda de estos sistemas, pero para los amantes de Blu-Ray en 4K es un gran equipo. Soporta Dolby Visión, por lo que adapta el brillo y color del televisor de manera fiel a lo que el director de la película busca, también soporta los codecs de sonido más comunes en las salas de cine y con bravía link se maneja con el mando del televisor (si es Sony). Un imprescindible para los amantes del Blu-Ray en calidad 4K. Su diseño es minimalista y no molesta con pantallas digitales absurdas si quieres un ambiente de cine en casa.

We have been after a 4K Blu-Ray player for some time to rplace our elderly but still functional, UBP-H1 machine. This didn't disappoint. Very sharp 4K picture from standard Blu ray, even better than our previous machine and that was also a well regarded player. and as for 4K discs, very good indeed. The only small caveat is the need to switch to Dolby Vision manually, but we already knew this. As the player is now at a great price, please don't hesitate to buy it while it is still in production

Totally amazing picture once I finally realised that I learnt how to set the picture settings. Apparently, too much playing around with settings and starting from scratch with help, the sound & picture quality is on a different level. Sony UBP-X800M2 punches above it's weight.

Op 08-02-2025 deze blu ray speler aangeschaft. De speler die wij hadden was aan vervanging toe en omdat we een nieuwe soundbar met Dolby Atmos hebben gekocht wilden we ook een blu ray speler hebben die niet alleen dit ondersteunde maar ook 4K en Dolby Vison. Gisteren werd hij bezorgd en natuurlijk direct aangesloten en getest. Wauw............wat een beeld....ongelooflijk scherp. Bij pauze stand is het beeld zo scherp dat het net een foto lijkt echt super. Verbinden met het netwerk, via Lan, is appeltje eitje. WiFi niet getest en ga ik ook niet doen, Lan verbinding is veel stabieler. De update was in no-time gedaan. De vele instellingen voor bijvoorbeeld audio, video et cetera maken dat het apparaat helemaal naar je eigen wensen ingesteld kan worden. Wij zijn super tevreden met deze blu-ray speler.

Sinds enkele dagen in gebruik. Het biedt veel kijkplezier, maar het ontbreken van een automatische softwarematige omschakeling naar Dolby Vision is storend. Daarom geen 5 sterren. Een firmware-update zou dit kunnen oplossen, en ik hoop dat deze er nog komt!

Tolles Bild, selbst bei einer DVD als Quelle, was natürlich kein Vergleich bei höherwertigem Quellmaterial ist. Der Ton ist hervorragend, SACD natürlich genial. Auch FLAC Dateien vom Server. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Ein Display wäre allerdings schön. Oder wenigstens eine APP, auf der man Titel usw. sehen kann. Das ist schon ein Minuspunkt. Verarbeitung und haptik sind tadellos!

Estremamente soddisfatto ..ovviamente non tutti i BR4K sono uguali ...film di 30 anni fa anche se in versione 4K non hanno la stessa resa di film dell'ultima generazione ..comunque è veramente un bel vedere. Comodo anche il supporto dei formati CD audio e il Bluetooth. Con un solo dispositivo si può vedere/ascoltare tutto.

I purchased this 4k blu-ray player to go with my recently purchased Sony 4k TV and matching soundbar to complete my home AV system. It integrates easily with the other Sony products. The picture & sound are everything I'd expect from Sony, clarity and detail superb on a 4k disc. I also tried several discs from my standard blu-ray collection and the upscaling was impressive (a lot will depend on the age of the movie and the quality of the transfer). Overall a quality product.

Ansicht macht der Player UHD-X800M2 einen guten Eindruck. Da mein Heimkino umgebaut wurde kam er selten zum Einsatz. Nun da es fertig ist, wollte ich mir endlich Filme in UHD anschauen, was mit diesem Player nicht machbar ist. Bei 9 von 10 Filmen bleibt er hängen ( Das Bild Friert ein, stockt, oder er häng sich ganz auf ) Dies an unterschiedlichen stellen im Film mehrmals, so das es nicht am Träger liegt. Zur Info es Handelt sich um neue 4k UHD filme , nichts gebrauchtes. Das ist wenn man einen Film anschauen möchte nicht Tragbar. Absolut unbrauchbares Gerät, das nicht einmal seine Grunfunktion Beherrscht.

Falls das Problem weiterhin besteht, befolge bitte die Schritte hier:
Schalte den Player aus und ziehe das Netzkabel ab. Warte mindestens 2 Minuten, bevor du das Netzkabel wieder anschließt und den Player einschaltest.

Um das Gerät auf die Werkseinstellungen zurückzusetzen, folge diesen Schritten:

Il lettore funziona molto bene. La qualità dell' immagine è molto buona e priva di rumore video. La costruzione è robusta e a differenza del precedente modello in mio possesso non si blocca con i dischetti 4 k. Peccato per la mancanza di Prime Video presente nei modelli americani. Davvero strano visto che trattasi dello stesso prodotto. Ho telefonato a Sony ma non mi hanno saputo rispondere. Telecomando molto economico e non all'altezza del marchio.

Je trouve l'interface d'un autre temps nous sommes au 21e siècle vous auriez pu faire une interface beaucoup plus jolie. Je trouve anormal qu'on ne puisse pas lire des fichiers DSD depuis un serveur sur le réseau. La navigation dans les fichiers musicaux à partir d'un disque dur externe branché en USB n'est pas digne du niveau de qualité d'une marque comme Sony, tout simplement parce qu'on a pas de navigation ni de champ de recherche pour rechercher un citron un album. Je suis extrêmement déçu par ce produit.

Habe den Player zwischen Weihnachten und Neujahr nach suoer Beratung bei Euronics Elsässer in Sindelfingen gekauft. Was Klang, Abspielmöglichkeiten, Anschlüsse und Einstellungen angeht, hat er meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Ein Stern Abzug gibt es wegen des fehlenden Displays, das abspielen von CDs ohne TV-Anschluss extrem schwer macht.

Das Gerät ist preisbezogen gut gebaut, was man am am Gewicht auch spüren kann. Die Optik ist trotz des hohen Kunststoffeinsatzes recht gut gelungen. Positiv ist zu sagen, daß die 4K Bildqualität mit Dolby Vision sehr gut ausfällt. Die Aufwärtskonvertierung von DVD's bringt kaum eine bemerkbare Verbesserung. Die Tonausgabe DVD/Bluray ist sehr gut. Nur hapert es an dem, was der Player eigentlich soll: 4K UHD Discs fehlerfrei abspielen. Leider kommt es auch bei diesem Player bei UHD Discs zu mehr oder weniger langen Pausen beim Layerwechsel. Das ist im Grunde nicht akzeptabel. Bislang ist die Wiedergabe noch nicht komplett eingefroren, sodas ein Neustart notwendig war. Aber... - so lange habe ich das Gerät auch noch nicht. Es fehlt auch ein Display um CD's und SACD's komfortabel wiederzugeben.

Buscando un lector Bluray UHD con funciones de red a un precio competitivo, pero sin renunciar a la calidad de material y construcción, me topé con este Sony que no tiene competencia en este rango de precio. Buena calidad en los materiales, un diseño atemporal y lo mejor de todo, una muy buena calidad de reproducción de los contenidos digitales. Compatible con casi todos los formatos de video y audio que existen. Su función de red y reproducción de streaming es muy buena, con una calidad de imagen y sonido notable. Mando a distancia bastante completo, con las funciones necesarias y un acceso al menú de pantalla con todos los detalles de configuración posibles. La reproducción de Bluray se está convirtiendo en un artículo de nicho en el ámbito audiovisual, pero gracias a estos productos, podrás darles una oportunidad a todas las colecciones de CD, DVD, Bluray que coleccionistas puedan tener. Si quieres un producto con calidad a un precio competitivo, éste es tu reproductor.

Der Player ist eigentlich gut. Was etwas nervig ist das man Dolby Vision extra einschalten muss. Eine automatische Erkennung wäre mir 5 Sterne wert. Eine andere Sache, ich habe dieses Gerät schonmal gehabt. Dieses ist nach nur 3,5 Jahren defekt gewesen. Es konnte nicht mehr eingeschaltet werden. Hoffentlich passiert mir das mit dem jetzigen nicht noch einmal. Ansonsten wäre Sony auf Lebzeit für mich gestorben.

Een van de weinige spelers op de mark met metalen constructie. Levert mooi beeld en geluid. Het instellen van de speler is eenvoudige maar sommige functies zijn wat verstopt. Het enige nadeel vind ik dat je niet op het apparraat zelf de afspeelduur zit. Daarvoor mort je software gebruiken .

Excellent for what I bought it for , Hires audio from USB , audio out via Coaxial. But video(mkv) from USB drive audio not supported E AC3 (Dolby Digital Plus) ,that is only lack for Sony UBP-X800M2. All kind of disc play perfectly. Maybe firmware update can fix Dolby Digital Plus compability with mkv files from USB.

Mein UBP-X800 lässt sich nicht mehr einschalten. Bislang hatte ich nie Probleme mit dem Player und auch beim letzten Gebrauch funktionierte er tadellos. Er war wenig im Einsatz und bin erstaunt, dass er den Geist aufgegeben hat. 1. Lösung: -ohne Erfolg, bei mehreren Steckdosen Hat nicht geholfen Den Player Abstecken. Einige Zeit abgesteckt lassen. Einstecken und dabei die an/aus-Taste am Player direkt gedrückt halten. 2. Lösung: von Volker Habe den Fehler gefunden! Die Schottkey Diode MBRF10100CT war defekt. Neue (Kosten 50 Cent) eingelötet und alles ist wieder bestens! Hoffe, es hilft auch Anderen mit dem gleichen Problem! Werde jetzt eine Reparaturstelle suchen.

Cercavo un lettore completo, per visualizzare i numerosi blu ray che possiedo. Avendo già un tv oled Sony Bravia, ed una sound bar Sony, ho voluto chiudere il cerchio restando su Sony, anche per sfruttare la piena compatibilità a livello di connessioni e gestione remota. In effetti il sistema gira che è una meraviglia, la qualità video è impressionante, nello specifico il lettore è silenziosissimo, non scalda per niente, ed è solido nella costruzione. Passa dai 1080p al 4K in uscita grazie ad un upscaling di altissima qualità, senza mai rallentare scaldarsi. Lo consiglio senza mezze misure, se poi avete tv o home theater/sound bar Sony, allora è d'obbligo.

J'ai acheté cet article le mois dernier, J'en suis satisfait dans l'ensemble. Le seul bémol, ce sont les réglages qu'il faut faire en tâtonnant pour la lecture de certains DVD qui ne sont pas Blu-ray.

Der Player ist Ansicht super und spielt alles ohne Probleme ab. Einzig die Auswahl von Dolby Vision ist nervig. Man muss sich festlegen, ob mit oder ohne. Eine Automatik gibt es nicht. Dadurch ist man gezwungen Dolby Vision zu deaktivieren und bei bedarf, 4K BluRay mit Dolby Vision zu aktivieren. Sonst wird das Bild verfälscht.

Vorhanden waren ein AV-Receiver mit Full-HD-Unterstützung und ein 4K-Fernseher. Es ist mir anfangs nicht gelungen, einen Ton über HDMI-Audio-Out herauszubekommen, weder an meinem AV-Receiver noch an meiner Soundbar. Alle UBP-Menüs werden mit 4K ausgegeben und gehen nicht durch den Receiver.

I like that it's a full width unit, has multiple outs and a premium look. Picture and sound are also good. However it freezes playing 4k discs and HDR 10+ being absent too make it hard to recommend.

Eigentlich habe ich hier in meiner Sound-Kette einen Oppo 105 BD Player. Aber leider kommt es beim Musik hören zu regelmäßigen Unterbrechungen und keiner weiß warum. Also musste Ersatz her und da fiel die Wahl auf den Sony, der mit sehr gutem Preisleistungsverhältnis glänzt. Aber nicht nur das — bei der ersten BluRay überzeugte mich der sehr gute Sound und ebenso das Bild. Ok, es gibt keinen Screen am Gerät. Aber die sehr gute Verarbeitung des schlicht-eleganten Gehäuses überzeugt ebenso wie Bild und Ton.

This was an upgrade to take advantage of the Dolby Atmos and HDR features on my new oled TV. I already have the mark 1 version of this player which is brilliant, not sure what I expected but for all intensive purposes, it's no different, looks identical, features are the same apart from the apps menu is a bit cheap looking compared to the older version and the picture and sound are good, but not noticeably better than the older version. I can't help think that this is more or less the same with a software upgrade which should have happened with the old version. A bit disappointed overall.
