Aunque cualquier foto realizada con esta óptica es espectacular en cuanto a nitidez y calidad de imagen, donde verdaderamente sobresale es en los retratos. Desenfoque del fondo y nitidez impresionantes. Aunque no es un asiduo en las opticas que me suelo llevar en los viajes, procuro hacerle un hueco, porque en los primeros planos, por ejemplo fotografiando personas en sus quehaceres cotidianos, no tienen comparación las tomas que realizas con este a las que hagas con otro...les da un "toque" diferente...como más destacable con respecto al fondo. Me encanta.

Ich nutze das Objektiv an der ILCA99M2 und bin von der ersten Sekunde an begeistert. Die Abbildungsleistung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Schärfe ist hervorragend, ebenso die Kontrastierung. Mit der Fokushaltetaste kann der Augen-AF wunderbar eingesetzt werden. Die Autofokuspunkte der ILCA99M2 werden alle unterstützt. Der Autofokus ist schnell, allerdings leicht hörbar. Das Gewicht von Kamerabody und Objektiv von ca. 1,5 kg lässt sich sehr gut handhaben. Für mich das perfekte Objektiv. Extra erwähnen möchte ich die Streulichtblende, welche aus Metall gefertigt und innen mit einem Fließ ausgekleidet ist. Der Rand der Blende hat eine Gummierung. Das ist sehr praktisch, da die Kamera quasi auf die Gummierung gestellt werden kann. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Amateur ayant exploré le 2.8, je me lance avec mon A77 ii sur le 1.4. Aux premiers essais, je me rends compte que l’apprentissage ne fait que commencer avec les possibilités qu'offre cet objectif. Mise au point ultra rapide, qualité optique à la hauteur de prix.

Mancava tra le mie focali una da utilizzare nei ritratti e nei primi piani in condizioni di scarsa luminosità e dopo una meticolosa ricerca mi sono indirizzato verso il Sony Zeiss Planar 85 mm F1,4 ZA. La prima impressione, appena preso in mano, è stata di solidità e di luminosità con la grandi lenti anteriore e posteriore. In utilizzo risalta un bellissimo effetto bokeh alle massime aperture( da 1,4 a 2,8) una pulizia eccellente dell'immagine con aberrazioni cromatiche quasi nulle come nullo è l'effetto barilotto. Forse unico problema è la scarsità di contrasto alle aperture spinte in piena luminosità ma certo questo non è lo scopo per cui è stato costruito. In conclusioni ampiamente soddisfatto!

Super lichtstarkes Objektiv, und an APS-C Kamera hat man im gemässigten Telebereich ( ca 125mm) dadurch natürlich schnelle Belichtungszeiten. Bei Portraitfotographie in der Konstellation eben auch ne entsprechenden Abstand zur Person. Macht Spaß und kann ich nur empfehlen!

j ai acheté ce super objectif pour faire du portrait en studio .je l utilise aussi pour des photos en extérieur . attention toutefois si vous y ajoutez un filtre UV ne prenez pas du bas de gamme . j aime les produits ZEISS . que du bonheur .

If you think of it as a person. She will be your daughter. She is very noisy, but anything she does is beautiful in your eyes. You want to protect her from elements. She does not look robust, like her brother the 50mm f1.4. The picture is sharp on your subject and soft at the background. The edging is well defined. I am clearly enjoyed what I see. I guessed nothing is perfect in this world, but it can be perfect in your own world.

I LOVE THIS LENS!!! No it isn't SSM, no it isn't weather sealed, and its motors are even a little noisy - But what a piece of glass, its well built and robust. Image quality is simply outstandingly sharp with creamy smooth out of focus bokeh, creating that all important separation and at the end of the day its that quality that matters most. Yes it is expensive, but worth every single penny. This is a must have lens. Even if they decided to update this lens, i don't think i would trade in my beloved 85mm
