Una ottica di classe (serie G) adattissimo per la fotografia di paesaggio. Ha un'ottima qualità dell'immagine, nitido e con una bella progressione dei piani dal centro ai bordi anche in considerazione delle focali quasi estreme per il full frame (12mm). Usato con Sony A7RM3A non teme l'alta risoluzione del sensore. È possibile ottenere un bel bokeh a distanza ravvicinata con apertura f.4 anche se certamente questo non è l'uso per il quale l'obiettivo è stato realizzato e per o stesso motivo, a mio parere, trovo inutile la necessità di una apertura del diaframma più ampia proprio in relazione al tipo di focale e l'utilizzo che si fa di questa ottica. Un investimento economico che può sembrare elevato ma che ripaga ampiamente vista la resa generale.

I have always lusted after a really good wide angle lens and on changing my Nikon kit recently to the Sony A7 iv, was wanting a wide angle as I am doing more landscape and with a trip to the Arctic upcoming. I tested a number of wide angle options and the 16mm, 18mm, 200mm, just did not quite do it. The 12mm at the bottom end of the range is incredible. I have regularly wanted to photograph landscape and building when I simply cannot get far enough back, this lens does it. Also for wide landscape it works well.

Mohamed aus Ägypten als von Sony Beauftragter für cashback lehnt meinen "Antrag" (an sich schon eine Frechheit) ab mit Hinweis mein Händler sei nicht teilnahmeberechtigt - für das 24-70 2,8 GM II aber offensichtlich schon weil das hat vier Wochen vorher mit der Erstattung geklappt. Und natürlich steht mein Händler immer noch in der Liste der teilnahmeberechtigten... Es geht insgesamt um €300 - will Sony mich um die.....?

Für die Bewertung "Hervorragend" fehlt es etwas an Lichtstärke und der Möglichkeit, normale Filter zu benutzen. Ansonsten in jeder Hinsicht ein tolles Objektiv. Egal ob in der Natur, in der Stadt oder im Studio - enttäuscht wird man nirgends. Also Daumen hoch und Weiterempfehlung!

Wir haben uns das Objektiv vor unserem Hawaii-Urlaub gekauft und haben lange darüber diskutiert, ob wir nicht doch lieber ein preiswerteres Objektiv mit fester Brennweite oder einen Konverter kaufen sollten. Nach dem Urlaub stellt sich diese Frage gar nicht mehr, denn wir haben ständig von den Zoom-Eigenschaften Gebrauch gemacht. Der Wunsch nach einem Weitwinkel-Objektiv bestand schon länger, doch liebäugelte ich mit einem (Tilt)-Shift-Objektiv. Letztlich half alles lesen von Testberichten im Internet und Zeitschriften nichts, ich musste einfach mal live vergleichen und testen, dem örtlichen Händler sei Dank ist das problemlos möglich. Letztlich ist es dann das Sony 12-24 f4 geworden mit dem ich jetzt seit einem Monat glücklich und zufrieden bin. Architektur, Innenräume - es ist sagenhaft. Zum entzerren ist oft genug Platz, die Verzeichnung hält sich sehr in Grenzen. Die Software behebt diese völlig problemlos, vignettierung zu den Rändern natürlich auch. (Ohne Korrektur ist beides nicht zu leugnen, aber irgendwie greifen ja noch die Gesetze der Physik). Wie gesagt, ich bin vollkommen zufrieden und beeindruckt von diesem tollen Objektiv. Einen Gedanken an das lichtstärkere Objektiv mit f2.8 habe ich seit dem Kauf nicht mehr verschwendet. Im direkten Vergleich gäbe es sonst noch das Sigma, dann allerdings 14-24mm. Und wesentlich schwerer. Dafür etwas günstiger. Jetzt hab ich alles was ich will: mehr Weitwinkel, mehr leicht, ein bisschen teurer. Thema abgehakt.

Coming I from nikon, this replaces my old sigma 8-16mm - its fast enough for extreme sports and street/architecture and feels a lot more professional than others, not so much distortion and the verticals aren't a problem, can suck for lens flate, but its a super wide so more my problem for not checking for it, especially when using flash.

If you want to go even wider than a 16mm, this is the lens to go. The sharpness, AF, distortion and overall quality of this lens is superb! Yes, it has a very nice distortion, but can also be removed from post ofcourse. In body it also does a good job to remove distortion and vignetting.... Chr.aboration is as minimal as it can be!

Ik heb deze lens inmiddels ruim een jaar in bezit. Het is een specialistische lens en je moet hem met verstand gebruiken. Het bereik aan de groothoekkant is fantastisch en je moet uitkijken dat je tenen niet onbedoeld op de foto staan. Je moet rekening houden met de bij een supergroothoek horende vertekening aan de randen, alles wordt aan de rand "uitgerekt" Het objectief heeft opvallend weinig last van chromatische aberatie. De scherpte is uitstekend. Het heeft een vaste zonnekap wat het nodig maakt dat, als je filters wilt gebruiken, je daarvoor speciale (en dure) systemen van Nisi of Kase voor moet gebruiken. Ik gebruik hem met veel plezier voor landschaps- en stedenfotografie.

En video hay que saber dominarlo, ya que con el steadyshot de la cámara produce ciertos efectos en los laterales no deseables, pero a 12mm, lo que es lógico. Mi unidad está totalmente compensada, no notando diferencia del lado izquierdo al derecho. Es muy manejable y extremadamente ligero, y frente al 2.8, la diferencia de precio es abismal, pero no debe serlo la calidad, porque este la da muy buena.

Das Sony 12-24 g f4 ist relativ klein und auch vom Gewicht her angenehm. Es ist schon beeindruckend wieviel man auf ein Foto bekommt. Das einzige Manko ist der Weitwinkel typische Abfall der Schärfe am Rand, dieser ist mir zumindest bei meiner A7iii etwas störend aufgefallen. Als Fazit würde ich das Objektiv für alle Empfehlen die ein Ultraweitwinkelzoom suchen, und nicht maximale Schärfe bis in Ecken erwarten.

12mm am unteren Ende sind schon eine Wucht, wenn man Superweitwinkel bei Video mag! Wird als Ergänzung zum PZ28135 4.0 G an A7sM3 verwendet. Extrem leicht und ist damit überall dabei. Funktioniert auch auf dem Gimbal sehr gut. Ein Rückfilter ist ebenfalls problemlos einsetzbar.

Habe das Objektiv erst vor 2 Monaten gekauft, deshalb habe ich noch nicht so viele Bilder damit gemacht. Die aber waren toll beeindruckend. Werde, wenn die Jahreszeit besser ist, das Objektiv auf jeden Fall noch oft nutzen. Habe es nicht bereut, mir das Objektiv zugelegt zu haben.

Ich habe das Sony 1224G wegen des extremen Weitwinkels gekauft. Festbrennweiten mit 12 mm von anderen Herstellern liefern zuviel "Fischauge" ab. Das ebenfalls hervorragende Sony 16-35 F4 Zeiss überschneidet zwar zum Teil den Brennweitenbereich, aber die 4 mm mehr Weitwinkel machen es aus. Man benötigt zwar ein wenig Übung in Bezug auf senkrechte Linien (lässt sich in jedem Falle auch nachbearbeiten), aber die Bildqualität an einer z.B. Sony Alpha RIII ist absolute Spitzenklasse. Verzeichnung und/oder Vignetierung sind nicht sichtbar. Der Schärfebereich bei 12 mm fängt nahezu direkt vor dem Objektiv an. Für Landschaften, Architektur, Innenräume aber auch Streetfotografie einmal mit anderen Perspektiven wie geschaffen. Die spezielle Verbindung von Vorderen- und Hintergrund ist mit diesem Objekt jetzt möglich. Das 12-24G und die Alpha's Vollformate sind einfach füreinander gemacht. Gewicht und Handling im Profibereich. Für Filter gibt es optional spezielle Halterungen.

Genial, una gran adquisición que da un punto de vista totalmente distinto en las fotos. No es excesivamente ni grande ni pesado, así que es un buen fichaje para la familia A7. El único punto negativo, como en realidad en casi todos los objetivos FF de Sony es el precio exagerado. De todas maneras esperando alguna oferta y un cash back se puede obtener a precio relativamente razonable.
