Eindelijk de knoop doorgehakt om goede lenzen 16 mm en 50 mm, in te ruilen voor deze 16-55. Ik heb liever 2 allrounder als deze plus de 70-350 dan allerlei losse lenzen. Ik heb nu met wandelen minder lenzen of eigenlijk meer maar dan wel een grote range met minder lenzen. En neem deze dus nu ook alle 2 mee.

Ik had nog een betere lens nodig wat meer licht sterk en alle reviews wezen io deze plus de sample foto’s op dpreview wat om te smullen zo mooi en die waren volgens mij nog met een A6400 gemaakt en ik heb een A6700 dus daar is zaker winst te behalen dus de koop was een feit en eerlijk als een kind met kerst toen ik zag dat ie was verstuurd gelijk erop en wauw wat een mooie foto’zo crisp en scherp een dikke 10 aanrader voor landschao en portret ook zetker een binnen husi allround lens!

Habe mir das Objektiv für meine FX 30 gekauft. Die Lichtstärke 2.8 ist durchgehend von 16 mm bis 55 mm. Der Fokus arbeitet sehr präzise und schnell. Bis jetzt habe ich noch keine Videos mit aufgenommen, sondern nur Bilder. Diese werden absolut scharf. Sony verspricht in seiner Produktinformation nicht zu viel.

Vervanging van mij kitlens

De lens heb ik 5 mei 2025 aangeschaft en dus slechts een paar weken in gebruik. Ik gebruik de Sony 16-55mm 2.8 op een Sony-a6400. Het is de vervanging van de kitlens 16-50mm, die ik samen met mij inmiddels versleten A6000 in 2015 kocht. Om zijn beeldkwaliteit staat deze niet al te best bekend staat, maar ik heb het altijd een goed bruikbare lens gevonden. Hoewel ik de powerzoon zoals op de kitlens niet fijn vind, is het voordeel dat in- en uit zoomen met de "Imaging Edge Mobile" app mogelijk is. Daar gebruik ik hem wel eens voor. De nieuwe Sony 16-55mm is wel wennen in gebruik, vooral om de juiste scherpstelvlak vinden met de grotere diafragma opening wat ik niet gewend was. De kitlens is wat dat betreft vergevingsgezinder omdat ik deze meestal op f8.0 gebruikte, maar heeft daardoor zijn beperkingen. Nu ik wat sportfoto's begin te maken geeft de nieuwe lens meer mogelijkheden en ook betere beelden. De twee concurrenten, de Sigma 18-50 en de Tamron 17-70 zijn het niet geworden omdat ik op de Sigma de 16 mm zal gaan missen en de Tamron te groot vond, ondanks zijn beeldstabilisatie. Verder heb ik de lens tweede hands aangeschaft bij een gerenommeerde fotozaak, wat toch weer beduidend scheelde. Anders zou ik hem waarschijnlijk toch te duur gevonden hebben. Wat dan de keus was geweest weet ik niet, misschien had ik wat langer gewacht of toch voor de kleinere en handzamere Sigma gekozen. Ik heb namelijk ook de Sony 10-18mm. Bj vooral de 16mm de groothoek instelling moet je rekening houden met de vertekening die digitaal gecorrigeerd wordt. Dit is voor de beeldkwaliteit geen probleem, want die is uitstekend, maar langs de randen valt daardoor net een strook weg die je misschien op de foto had verwacht, waardoor b.v. het haantje van de toren buiten beeld valt. Ten slotte, maar dat zal voor ieder anders zijn, mis ik de beeldstabilisatie niet echt. Op oude analoge camera's zat deze ook nooit en een extra steuntje is vaak snel te vinden.

L’ho acquistato per abbinarlo alla FX30 perciò non posso dare giudizi sul lato fotografico. A livello video in accoppiata con la piccoletta della Cinema Line è fenomenale esattamente come tutti gli obiettivi G e GM che posseggo o che possedevo,l’equivalente su FF di un 24-82,5 che restituisce questa lente è incredibilmente comodo in ogni situazione,l’auto focus è impeccabile e la nitidezza nei video brilla. Insomma un grande obiettivo che nonostante gli anni rimane il top nella categoria e la mancanza della ghiera dei diaframmi non è così grave almeno per me (sarebbe stato bello averla comunque). In conclusione penso sia un must per tutti coloro che vogliono qualità senza dover per forza andare su Full Frame.

Als Upgrade auf Kitobjektive (16-50 und 18-135) wieder problemloser fotografieren. Nach den ersten Spaziergängen mit dem Objektiv: Bereits mit Offenblende bis in die Randbereiche scharf genug, auch das Bokeh ist natürlich je nach verwendeter Blende stärker ausgeprägt und wirkt auch gefällig und nicht so unruhig wie das 18-135 manchmal. Ein Stabi wäre natürlich schön gewesen, aber bei dem Brennweitenbereich noch gut verzichtbar - dann lieber kompakt. Gewicht, Größe, Verarbeitung und Haptik sehr gut, Preis-/Leistung - bei Inanspruchnahme von Sonderaktionen (hier: Cashback) jedenfalls - m.E. gut. Vermutlich als neues Immerdrauf, unterwegs in Kombi mit dem 85mm/f1.8 genügend Möglichkeiten...

Ich nutze das Objektiv erst seit Dez. 2024 - aber im Vergleich zum 16-70 F4 Zeiss ist das Ding wesenlich besser. Die F2.8 macht viel aus bei wenig Licht. Manchmal fehlt mit etwas die Brennweite bos 70mm und die dadurch mögliche Freistellung. Auch Größe und Gewicht ist mehr, aber es bereitet viel mehr Freude damit Fotos zu machen!

Compré este objetivo el día 25 del mes pasado, lo he usado principalmente en paisaje urbano con poca luz y me ha encantado lo versátil que es, lo manejable y su calidad de imagen. Lo uso con la cámara Sony Alfa 6700 y el conjunto de ambos elementos es muy adecuado al tipo de fotos que suelo hacer.

von der Bildsprache extrem hochwertig ! tolles Bokeh ! scharf bis zu den Ecken ! extrem schneller Autofokus, wäre perfekt, wenn ein Stabi dabei wäre. Ansonsten kann man die Sigma Festbrennweiten 16mm / 30mm / 56mm getrost zuhause lassen. Klar, die haben zwar Blende F1.4 aber ansonsten von der Schärfe so gut wie kein Unterschied. Die beste Kamera (Objektiv) ist die, die man dabei hat. Der Sensor bleibt auch sauber, da nicht ständig gewechselt werden muss :-)

Très heureux du rendu de cet objectif pour APS-C. Monté sur le ZV-E10 II, le combo donne une qualité d'image incroyable. Néanmoins, l'objectif accuse son âge. Un update ne serait pas inutile afin de l'alléger un peu et lui offrir un meilleur équilibre. Ajouter une bague d'ouverture déclinable et un 2ème bouton personnalisable (comme les GM II plein format) en ferait un incontournable pour les boîtiers APS-C Sony. Ceci serait d'autant plus utile que les boîtiers s'affinent et que certains ne disposent pas de viewfinder. Cela étant dit, il rend grâce au G qui lui est apposé et offre un rendu exceptionnel avec ce capteur de 26Mpx, tant en photo qu'en vidéo. À acheter avec tout APS-C Sony car son équivalent 24-82.5 en plein format en fait un incontournable pour un rendu de qualité avec le minimum de post-traitement.

Das Objektiv ist super, besonders der große Brennweitenbereich ist beeindruckend und das durchgängig bei F 2.8, doch leider ist es auch größer und schwerer in der Praxis als ich dachte. Als Standartobjektiv, das immer mitgenommen wird, eignet es sich tatsächlich nur bedingt, da trägt man doch einiges mit sich rum. Die Bildqualität ist gut, mir manchmal etwas zu weich, aber dass ist Geschmackssache, Festbrennweiten sind knackiger.

I wanted a lens that would give me close to the same range on my A6700 as I enjoy on my Sony R1s and this has fitted the bill very nicely. It’s a compact zoom that is easy to carry around that is well made and finished, looking handsome on the A6700. Zoom and focus rings have well-weighted movements. The lens mount is tight and positive. The 67mm filter thread allows me to adopt a lot of the accessories that I use on the R1s and the other lenses I have for this system. The already decent close framing at the long end is boosted to mild macro levels with a 10mm extension tube or a supplementary close-up lens such as the Sony VCL-M3367, both of which are light and easy to carry and further extend the versatility of this zoom. Optically, this is a very good performer and the constant f2.8 aperture makes it versatile in all lighting conditions. When stopped down a little you get the best out of it. Pixel peeping reveals very good, if not stellar, micro-contrast but sharpness is admirable and I’m very happy with the results so far. Focus speed is excellent and it’s good that Sony have provided a focus-hold button on the lens body as well as the AF / MF switch. Stabilisation provided by the A6700 works very well with this lens allowing me to shoot down to 1/20 sec. at the telephoto-end - pretty remarkable. This lens is an ideal walk-around and travel companion with lovely handling and I’m going to be using it often.

Sinds 2 weken gebruik ik de lens in combinatie met A6700. Werkt fantastisch bij straatfotografie, vooral door de f2.8 waardoor de scherpte-diepte goed te regelen is. Ook landschapsfotografie ermee gedaan.

This has got to be the sharpest lens i have ever used. The focusing is so fast on my a6400 is truly amazing and I havent lost a fast moving shot yet. It does look bulky on the a6400, but it feels balanced. Well worth the purchase.

I have used many Sony lens and this one has the most build of lens elements in the design. Having used cameras for over fifty years you know when a product gives good quality images without fudging them as I say. I am one of the old school photographers where the photo you took had to be spot on so maybe twenty photos one would be the right one this was on film and that cost money where as now if I take fifty shots it does not matter . So I have only had the lens for a few hours but in that time got the feel of the weight and operation of the lens, while normally within the first hour I would have taken around thirty photos this exercise was only 20 over the twenty shots my main goal is perfection of all the colours and in focus sharpness must be spot on. I check on what colours I am photographing against the actual subjects while they are still there to see. So the lens operates as I would expect it smooth and precise when I am out and about sometime there is no second chance especially with wild life and focus is the essence. If I am photographing moving object I like to be in control while bust control is there on my Sony camera there is something special about taken how many images and the art of doing it. So onto OSS while it's in my title I was brought up to use a camera to eliminate camera shake and can say this lens on my Sony body without built in stabilising is as it should be perfect. A word on the weight it does help to overcome OSS So overall without OSS which some photographers would like it loses a star

Le buone recensioni lette sul web mi hanno guidato nella scelta di questo ottimo zoom; ero un po' perplesso per la mancanza di stabilizzazione, ma devo dire che non ho mai avuto problemi. E' diventato il mio tuttofare accoppiato alla piccola a6400, me lo porto ovunque. Chi utilizza uno zoom è disposto a scendere a compromessi, devo dire che con il 16-55 di compromessi se ne devono accettare davvero pochini. Non è regalato ma secondo me vale i soldi che costa.
