Stativaufnahme gebrochen, Kartenschacht für SD Karten gebrochen, Fotoaufnahme nicht zu gebrauchen, da Fotoqualität sehr schlecht, Stabilisierung mittelmäßig, Bedienung mittelmäßig nicht intuitiv. Ansonsten mäßig brauchbare Qualität. Naja, SONY halt. Hab mit Sony noch nie gute Erfahrungen gehabt.

Peccato non aver potuto aggiornare il software, provato cento volte con 4 diversi pc senza ottenere risultato. Pertanto registra solo in AVCD e non in 4K. Assistenza Sony inadeguata, solo pseudo intelligenze che tentano inutilmente di risolvere i problemi. Francamente un bel prodotto, ma purtroppo limitato dall'impossibilità di installare un vitale aggiornamento.

Ich habe die Kamera jetzt im vierten Jahr in ständigem Gebrauch. Sie hat mir bisher stets sehr gute Aufnahmen gebracht. Hervorzuheben sind die exzellente, bei keiner Kamera von anderen Anbietern in dieser Preisklasse, nie erreichte Bildqualität. Die Farben sind naturgetreu, die Aufnahmen gestochen scharf. Auch bei 4K wird das bei anderen Firmen nicht erreicht. Ebenfalls ist der optische Stabilisator von keinem Hersteller so präzise, mit Softwarestabilisatoren sowieso nicht zu vergleichen. Ich selber habe eine Rede ca. 20 Min. lang bei vollem Zoom (optisch) und ohne Stativ, nur mit den Händen, aufgenommen. Mein Freund hat gesehen, wie ich schon mit den Händen gezittert habe, aber bis auf ein leichtes "Schwimmen" war die Aufnahme stabil ! Es gibt natürlich auch Kritikpunkte, aber bei so einem komplexen Gerät kein Wunder. Eine Gegenlichtblende bei diesem Preis hätte doch wohl "drin" sein müssen. Auch bei den Bedienelementen könnte einiges besser gemacht werden. Hier sei z.B. der unmögliche Platz des Anschlusses für ein separates Mikrofon, ausgerechnet unter dem Zoomhebel, erwähnt. Stecker, die außerdem dünn und lang sein müssen wegen der tief im Gehäuse gelegenen Anschlussbuchse, behindern die Bedienung des Zoom stark. Auch die Lage des Suchers und des Akkus sind problematisch bei Verwendung eines NP-FV 100 !!! Das ist schon ein dolles Ding, eigentlich Frechheit. Man muss den Sucher schon etwas nach oben anwinkeln, wenn man das Sucherbild sehen will. Der Bildschirm ist für mich dabei indiskutabel, weil für eine gute Kameraführung grundsätzlich unpraktisch. Ich glaube, dass das jeder einigermaßen anspruchsvolle Filmer so sieht. Das heißt aber nicht, dass dieser überflüssig ist. Dann muss ich noch den eigentlich überflüssigen eingebauten Projektor erwähnen. Das Projektionslicht ist viel zu schwach und reicht nur für eine sehr kurze Entfernung der Projektionsfläche/Leinwand. Leider gab es zum Zeitpunkt meines Kaufes nur dieses Modell mit Projektor, die Version ohne kam leider erst später auf den deutschen Markt. Insgesamt kann ich jedoch feststellen, dass diese Kamera hochwertig und verlässlich ist. Ich kann diese Kamera jedem mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen.

First camcorder I've ever owned or used, worth buying something that's got good reviews, steep learning curve and haven't had to resort to the instruction book very much - all fairly intuitive. Bought from John Lewis, recommended carry case (Sony LCS-BBJ) useless, won't even take device with battery fitted on, and no other storage.

Acheté en mai 2015. J’apprécie la qualité de l’image en 4K et du son. Le stabilisateur est vraiment très efficace, j’ai filmé en 4x4 en roulant sur des pistes défoncées et l’image bouge à peine. La prise en main est correcte malgré une masse un peu élevée de 735 grammes avec batterie NP-FV70 (on gagne 50 g si on utilise une batterie NP-FV50). La capacité de la batterie est d’environ 1 heure compte tenu des arrêt/marche, de l’utilisation du zoom, et des visualisations de contrôle. Le projecteur surprend par sa bonne luminosité à plus d’1 mètre de diagonale image (utile quand on n’a pas de TV pour projeter une petite vidéo, mais attention à l’échauffement du caméscope). Il y a cependant une régression par rapport au HDR-XR500 que je possédais auparavant : - La mise au point est laborieuse en faible lumière ou sur sujet en mouvement, jusqu’à plusieurs secondes. - La sensibilité en faible lumière (Low Lux) est moins bonne. J’ai donc acheté la torche Sony HVL-HEIR1 qui a une très bonne portée supérieure à 5 mètres, mais malheureusement avec un angle aux alentours d’un cône de 30°, ce qui oblige à zoomer à au moins x4 sinon on se retrouve avec un vignettage noir à gauche et à droite de l’image. - Le zoom optique à x10 est un peu juste. - Pour l’ergonomie : 1). Le passage en mode « Low Lux » que j’utilise assez souvent se fait en 3 étapes en déroulant le menu (trop long et compliqué) au lieu d’un simple bouton à manœuvrer précédemment. 2). En enregistrement, il y a trop d’icônes affichées en permanence dans le viseur, gênant la vision et le cadrage. Par exemple : Menu, Lecture, Effet de photo, Détection de visage, Mode auto intelligent, Zoom micro, Mode audio, Photo impossible en enregistrement 4K, support et mode d’enregistrement, qui sont intéressants en « Veille », mais inutiles en « Enregistrement ». 3). Quand on utilise l’écran, le viseur reste éteint, même quand on pivote l’écran de 180°. C’est dommage car c’était bien pratique pour filmer des personnes qui se voyaient en même temps. Est-ce pour économiser la batterie ? - Pour filmer en XAVC S 4K il faut utiliser obligatoirement des cartes SD-XC qui n’existent qu’à partir de 64 Go (avec une capacité d’enregistrement limitée à 1h21mn), soit presque 50 Go pour 1 h de film. De plus, à ce jour, on ne peut pas graver de disque de plus de 50 Go, il faut donc stocker les films 4K de plus d’une heure, soit sur un disque multimédia lisant les fichiers 4K, soit sur carte SD-XC en utilisant le caméscope comme lecteur.

Een paar weken geleden heb ik dit model gekocht en zoek nog zijn mogelijkheden. Het is opmekelijk zwaar. De stablisator werkt goed en de beeldkwaliteit is ook goed. Menu is onhandig en de manualring kan alleen een ding tegelijk compenseren, zodat van een echte "manual" is er geen sprake.

Ich bin mit der Aufnahmequalität und der Wiedergabe auch über den Projektor sehr zufrieden. Verbessern würde ich -Bluetoothschnittstelle für Audiowiedergabe -WLAN-Zugriff für Wiedergabegeräte zur Nutzung des Projektors -App für Smartfone zur Steuerung der Videokamera. Dort sollten alle Funktionen, die über den Touchsrceen der Kamera gehen, auch umgesetzt werden.

I have not used much but I am very pleased with the quality of what I have done with this Camera so far eg. Stabiliser system,quality of video and pictures,Auto mode very good,plenty of choice for manual operation,a nice weight to hold,Battery life OK but you will need a spare,Projector OK as novelty value,??view finder good alternative to LCD screen, I should add that 4K video is excellent and in conclusion I would say that it is a step up in performance and quality to my previous model HDR - PJ810 which i have been pleased with.

I bought this some 10 days ago and as the weather here in the NW UK hasn't been good at all I've only used the camcorder on a few occasions. First impressions are that the picture quality is superb both in 1080 and 4K. The BOSS system really adds to the functionality. The build quality is top-notch. A small niggle is that the hot-shoe is covered by a plastic flap which cannot be removed (unless you an expert DIY person) which hinders/prevents the use of an attached microphone or light.

La prima cosa che mi ha colpito è l’aspetto un po’ spartano (made in china), la cinghia dell’impugnatura è piccola, corta per mani grosse, regolabile con aggancio di tipo velcro e per mani medio/grandi rimane un aggancio di pochi millimetri. La restante parte di velcro rimane scoperta e in ambienti affollati se qualcuno vi tocca rimane agganciato alla videocamera. Tutto questo rende la presa poco stabile. Il cavetto USB si impiccia con la presa della tracolla e speriamo che le ondulazioni non la danneggino. Il trasferimento dei dati sul PC è lenta considerando l’entità dei files 4K: una USB 3 sarebbe stata più adeguata. I comandi sul monitor touch sono piccoli e con dita medio/grandi si fa fatica a dare i comandi giusti. Sulla qualità delle immagini nulla da eccepire, definizione eccellente, purtroppo va in sofferenza con poca luce. Ottimo lo stabilizzatore che con un po’ di attenzione consente ottime immagini anche in movimento. Il 4k meriterebbe una registrazione a 50p perché con i 25p perde di fluidità nei movimenti. Rispetto alla mia precedente HDR-SR12 offre una immagine sicuramente migliore, una migliore stabilizzazione ma ha gli stessi problemi con relativamente poca luce ed è stata meno curata dal punto di vista estetico/funzionale. Sinceramente mi aspettavo qualcosa di più visto il prezzo per altro privo delle memorie che vanno acquistate a parte.

The AXP33 is a very good camcorder, but you also need a very good TV to see the difference. I have a 42" LG and a 55" Samsung, both 4K; but it is only really on the 55" can you see that it outperforms HD. The camcorder is also very fussy about SD cards, it really does need UHS-I 3 versions to record UHD. It's also quite heavy to carry all day. But I would call it semi-pro, you could sell wedding footage or similar. The stabilised lens means handheld shots are easy, but be careful with panning or zooming too much which can look unnatural.

La videocamera ha una resa molto buona sia in full HD che in 4k, unitamente ad uno stabilizzatore eccezionale che evita pressoché qualsiasi movimento e tremolio. Sarebbe perfetta se fosse possibile, anche in 4k, riprendere a 50p. Per sfruttare al meglio la qualità 4k occorre però disporre di un computer molto potente, di un software di editing tipo Premiere e di un televisore 4k

Sinds enkele maanden ben ik met deze camera aan het filmen. Wat een geweldige ervaring is deze camera . De multi bediening samen met mijn Sony action cam , de zeer scherpe beelden in 4K echt indrukwekkend. Even je film op de muur laten zien geen probleem met de projector. Wat wel een stapje terug was is de scherm afmeting deze is kleiner als mijn bestaande 550 breedbeeld scherm camera.

Ich hatte mehrere Momente den Camcorder wieder zurück zu geben. Aber ich Versuches nochmal. Die 4 K Clips kann Magix nicht finden. Auch gibt es keine Vorschau der 4 K aufgenommenen Clips. Das Schwarze Gehäuse mit den komischen Flecken finde ich nicht schön. Der Stabilisator ist super. Ich habe gelesen, dass man dem Stellrad Funktionen zuweisen kann, wie in der Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben, aber man kann nur jeweils EINE Funktion zuweisen und die anderen Eingestellten gehen dann verloren, da mit Automatik überschrieben. Mit einem Freund aus dem Filmclub habe ich die Funktionen durchgesehen. Und er hat dann nach 1/2 Nutzung seiner CX900 weitere Funktionen entdeckt. Soviel zur Bedienungsanleitung und Hilfe !! Auch fehlt ein Blitz. Den vermisse ich! Sie empfehlen in 4K mit 25 Bilder aufzunehmen. Das ist bei bewegten Objekten nicht machbar.

Mooie camera met veel opties. De camera ligt stevig en een beetje zwaar in de hand. De stabilisatie is erg prettig en werpt zeker zijn vruchten af. Beeld kwaliteit is haarscherp. Menu makkelijk te bedienen en logisch. Bedienen van de zoom knop vergt enige gewenning omdat deze erg snel reageert. Echter niet hinderlijk nadat je er aan gewend bent. Enige minpunt is wat mij betreft de digitale zoom deze is echt van slechte kwaliteit. Wat mij betreft niet bruikbaar. Al met al een zeer prettige camera met veel mogelijkheden. Zekere een aanrader.

Adquirí esta camara para sustituir mi antigua Sony de 8mm digital, apariencia explendida, dimensiones súper reducidas, cocha con lo que yo tenía antes, bastante manejable aunque se depende mucho del táctil de la pantalla para operar algunas funciones.El proyector a pesar de su reducidas dimensiones lo veo muy bien( pero hay que verlas imágenes en una zona oscura). Lo lamentable de este excelente producto es la incompatibilidad de accesorios anteriores (yo tengo una lampara con flash HVL-FDH3 que se ha quedado obsoleta por la incompatibilidad de conexión) y la no presencia del manual completo en Español aunque vengan múltiples idiomas de otros países de la CE, es la parte mala que le he observado.

Ho preso Sony Handycam Axp33 circa un mese fa per la qualità dei filmati in 4K. Lo usata. Camera funziona bene e video in 4K sono di ottima qualità. Ecco alcuni osservazioni per sapere prima di prenderla. Nella confezione non presente nessuna scheda di memoria, quindi bisogna leggere istruzioni, forum e fare le ricerche su internet per prendere una scheda che funzioni bene. Qualità 4 K - troppo bello! Ma dovete avere software / hardware in grado di supportare questo formato. I software scaricabile gratuitamente da sito Sony non lavorano con 4K, potete vederli su PC. ( Ho scaricato Action Cam Movie Creator e PlayMemories Home) Action Cam Movie Creator po’ fare conversione in un formato HD e dopo potete montare piccoli filmati. Per poter montare un video in 4K bisogna comprare software e ovviamente avere buoni prestazioni del hardware. Anche i televisore deve supportare 4K, altrimenti si vede in Full HD. Le foto meglio fare con una foto camera professionale tipo Nikon o altri. Dimensioni 4288x2408 non vuol dire qualità professionale. Buono per metterli su web. (Allego un paio di esempi) Funzionalità come proiettore divertente: Potete vedere filmati in qualsiasi posto insieme con amici o bambini. Ho provato anche vedere i film da PC, proettando tramite proettore di camera. Funziona! Posso dire che questa camera è un passo avanti. Spero che Sony mette in disposizione un software gratuito come Action Cam Movie Creator per poter montare filmato in 4K, o magari semplicemente lo aggiorna aggiungendo questa funzionalità. Sto ancora provando questa camera, magari mi è sfuggito qualcosa.

Herausragende Bildstabilisierung, großerWeitwinkel

Zusammenfassend empfehle ich den Camcoder aufgrund der herausragenden Bildstabilisierung und des großen Weitwinkels. Bei der Entwicklung wurden aber leider auch viele Dinge im Vergleich zu Vorgänger-Modellen verschlechtert, die gerade für professionelle Anwendungen problematisch sind. Für private/gelegentliche Anwendungen sollten sie allerdings nicht stören. Pro/Contra variieren je nach Anwendung und Präferenzen. Ich nutze den Camcorder für Feiern und Urlaube, und kaufe ausschließlich Produkte von Sony. PRO: - BOSS (Bildstabilisierung) ist ausgezeichnet im Weitwinkelbereich und bei wenig/normalem Wackeln oder leichtem Zittern. Bei vollem Weitwinkel kann man im Spazierengehen filmen (wenn man normal geht, ohne extra Verwackeln, und eine ruhige Hand hat) ohne dass das Video verwackelt wird - Bedienung intuitiv (für Personen mit Vorkenntnis) - Sucher: 1,5 MP (MegaPixel), dieser fehlte oft bei Vorgängermodellen - Display: 0,9 MP (1440 P * 640 P) bei guten Sichtverhältnissen ist die Bildqualität super. Ich empfehle eine Display Schutzfolie - Projektor / Beamer: 854 P * 480 P. Nettes Feature, vor allem der Bild-Ausgleich via Trapez-Interpolation (falls Camera nicht senkrecht zur Wand gerichtet ist) fasziniert mich. Camera hat auch einen HDMI Eingang und kann mit einem separaten Taster direkt angesprochen werden - Weitwinkel im Vergleich zu Vorgängermodellen sehr groß - im Vergleich zu alten Modellen lichtstark. Im Vergleich zu aktuellen Modellen mit größerem Bildsensor lichtschwach - maximale Bildqualität eines Fotos (20 MP) deutlich besser als bei Vorgänger Modellen, aber auch schlechter als bei Spiegelreflexkameras. - der Camcorder erkennt die Formatierung anderer SD-Karten anderer Cameras, womit sich Bilder/Videos über WLAN teilen lassen, was mit anderen Cameras ggf. nicht mögich ist - teilen via WLAN funktioniert super - kompatibel mit Remote fürs Handgelenk (RM-LVR1) meiner Actioncam. Steuerbar sind aber nur record und zoom, ebenfalls auch über Smartphone App via WLAN des Camcorders. - USB-Stecker extern in den Haltegriff der Hand eingehakt. Einerseits sinnvoll zum spontanen Aufladen des Akkus via USB, andererseits problematisch wg. Knicken des Kabels und Feuchtigkeitseinfluss - Klinke 3,5 mm in und output für Mic und Kopfhörer. Dass die Schnittstellen existieren, finde ich super, doch wären andere Buchsen sinnvoller, da Klinke wackelkontaktanfällig ist - für die komplexe Technik erstaunlich klein und leicht. Gleiche Größe wie alter Camcorder CONTRA: - Menüführung ähnlich umständlich wie bei Vorgänger-Modellen und mit komplizierten / nicht sofort verständlichen Begriffen - Sucher: Bei seitlich einfallendem Licht erkennt man das Bild im Sucher nur schwer. Gummi-Umrandung wie bei meiner Spiegelreflexcamera fehlt - Bildstabilisierung funktioniert im Telebereich und bei hochfrequentem Wackeln nicht richtig - Video (1080 P, 25p) in seltenen Fällen bei schneller Bewegung eines Objekts nicht flüssig sondern ruckelig. Der Anfangsverdacht, dass es an der aktiven Bildstabilisierung liegt, stimmte wohl nicht. Mit 50p statt 25p war das Problem dann behoben. - Software Fehler, wenn Dateien auf der SD-Karte am PC nach dem Kopieren gelöscht werden, aber Logfiles / Registry Einträge auf der Camera weiterhin bestehen bleiben. Dann stürzt die Camera ab während der Aufnahme des nächsten Videos. Lösbar durch Neu-Formatierung der SD-Karte auf der Camera oder durch konsequentes Löschen der Dateien auf der Camera selbst - „Display-Scharnier“ „knarzt/klappert“ beim Öffnen/Schließen und wenn die Camera mit der linken Hand unter dem Display und die rechte Hand am Haltegriff festgehalten wird. Geräusch wird durch das Mic leider mitaufgezeichnet - internes Blitzlicht für Bilder fehlt, Externes kann separat erworben werden - USB nur 2.0, USB 3.0 wäre sinnvoller gewesen, SD-Karte kann aber auch direkt kopiert werden - mechanischer Schalter (außen) wurde durch Taster in der Innenseite getauscht. Will man ein Video am TV über HDMI ansehen, kann das Display (oder der Sucher) nicht geschlossen werden, sonst fährt der Prozessor der Camera herunter - Position der HDMI-Abdeckung problematisch, wenn geöffnet und Display geschlossen werden soll - Infrarot-Fernbedienung fehlt und Alte ist nicht mehr kompatibel. Diese war praktisch für Diashows oder Videovorführungen zum spontanen Anhalten/Wiederholen der Bilder oder des Films - Multi-AV Kabel (VMC-15MR2) zur analogen Übertragung des Videos an einen Fernseher muss bei Bedarf extra gekauft werden - neue Akku Baureihe (NP-FV …), alte Akkus (NP-FH …) nicht direkt kompatibel. Trick: seitliche Plastik-Lasche zum Einhaken des alten Akkus kann verkleinert werden (vorsichtig mit Seidenschneider oder Messer wegschneiden), dann lässt sich der alte Akku wieder verwenden. - Zubehör im Verhältnis zu teuer - Zubehör (älter als die Camera) teilweise nicht kompatibel. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht, was das Zubehör angeht. Dass ein genormter Schuh verwendet wird, bedeutet nicht, dass alle Geräte mit dieser (elektrischen) Schnittstelle auch funktionieren. Es gibt mehrere Adapter (ADP-MAC, ADP-MAA, MSA-MIS), von denen der ADP-MAC (Adapter von „multi interface shoe“ auf „active interface shoe“) in Verbindung mit meinem Blitzlicht (HVL-HFL1) meiner alten Camera nicht funktioniert, trotz korrekter Schnittstellen. Bemerkung s. u. - Der Multi-Ausgang ist nicht kompatibel mit dem Adapter-Kabel (VMC-AVM1) auf die frühere Multi Schnittstelle (AV/remote out), zum Beispiel um ein altes Stativ mit Fernbedienung oder eine Kabel-Fernbedienung anzuschließen. - Es gibt keine 100% kompatiblen Vorsatzlinsen. Meine älteren Sony Vorsatzlinsen mit 52 mm Ring: Bei Weitwinkel (VCL-R0752) bekommt man abgerundete Ecken, die sich je nach Ausgleich der Bildstabilisierung von Ecke zu Ecke bewegen, wobei mindestens 1 Ecke immer abgerundet und leider der Fischaugeneffekt erkennbar ist. Besser ist eine uralt Weitwinkel-Vorsatzlinse aus der Zeit der Schmalfilmkameras von Revue: auch Fischaugeneffekt, aber weniger abgerundete Ecken und noch mehr Weitwinkel. Bei Extrem-Tele (Faktor 4,7*) stellt sich entweder der Fokus nicht scharf (auch manuell nicht möglich) oder mit der Vorsatzlinse (VCL-R2052) kann die Bildstabilisierung Verwackelungen nicht ausgleichen - alle manuellen Einstellungen können nicht gleichzeitig getroffen werden. Damit bleibt der Camcorder voll- oder halb-/teil-automatisch. Soll der Camcorder einfach bedienbar sein, ist nur 1 manuell variabler Modus sinnvoll, die anderen Modi sollten zu diesem Zeitpunkt entweder manuell statisch oder automatisch eingestellt sein, da es nur 1 Ring gibt, um manuelle Einstellungen vorzunehmen, anders bei teureren Cameras. - der Touchscreen reagiert erst bei kräftigerer Berührung, genauso wie beim alten Camcorder, scheinbar resistive (und nicht kapazitive) Bauart Anmerkung: Ich verwende eine Sony SD-Karte SF-G1UX2 (SDXC UHS I U3 128 GB, lesen: max. 94 MB/s, schreiben: max. 60 MB/s). Diese ist voll-kompatibel für alle Einstellungen. Die hohe Schreibrate ist sinnvoll, um stochastische Einbrüche/Schwankungen der Datenrate auszugleichen, ohne den Puffer vollzuschreiben. 4k schreibt wahlweise mit 60 oder 100 Mbit/s = 12,5 MB/s, aber nur in 25p, während man bei niedrigerer Auflösung (1080p) auch 50p wählen kann. Außerdem kann man statt PAL auch NTSC mit 24 oder 30 fps (bzw. dem Doppelten davon) nutzen. Wer mit 4k anfangen will, sollte sich Gedanken machen, ob sein PC leistungsfähig genug ist für die Wiedergabe (ggf. Schneiden) und wo er die riesigen Datenmengen sichern möchte (externe Festplatten, online Speicher etc.). Den Camcorder an sich habe ich im Vergleich mit meinen Sony Cameras DCR-SR190E (Festplatten-Camcorder, 2007), SLT-A77 (Spiegelreflexcamera, 2013) und HDR-AS100VR (Actioncamera, 2014) umfangreich getestet. Dass das alte Zubehör nicht mehr funktioniert und der Camcorder somit nicht abwärtskompatibel ist, ist aus wirtschaftlichen Gründen (Anregung zum Neukauf) gewollt. Bei intensiver Recherche habe ich herausgefunden, dass die neuen Schnittstellen die für altes Zubehör notwendigen Signale trotzdem beinhalten, allerdings benötigt man gezwungenermaßen immer original Sony Zubehör Kabel, bei denen die entscheidenden Pins an den Steckern nicht belegt sind und somit die entscheidenden Signale nicht übertragen werden können.

Fidèle à Sony, je ne regrette pas mon achat du dernier APX33 avec une qualité d'image au rendez-vous. Idéale pour nos reportages par son poids, nous utilisons an production, le + la bague d'objectif. J'avais du mal de faire un choix de caméscope très mobile après de nombreuses utilisation du CX740, celui-ci est un beau successeur. Je n'avais pas besoin du rétro projecteur, et comme c'était le seul modèle en magasin, son utilisation peut être sympa. Je le conseille sans hésitation.

Great 2nd Generation 4K camcorder

The AXP-33 is an excellent camcorder. It is smaller, lighter and 40% cheaper than the 4K Sony AX100 of 2014. The active 2 Axis gimbal style BOSS stabilization works extremely well. This stabilization is the best on the market today. The AXP33 is best used as a camcorder to record family and travel. It achieves a amazingly sharp 4K image in a compact body and the stabilisation yields super stable (and therefore watchable) "walk around" footage. Since the sensor is 7.76mm (diagonal) the low light performance, while very good, is not, and can not be, as good as Sony's AX100 or Panasonic's FZ1000 which have sensors three times larger (25.4mm) for the same resolution. So this camera is perhaps not ideal for "professional" film makers who want noise free images in low light and with shallow depth of field (wide aperture). For the rest of us this camera is an excellent compromise between weight, stabilisation and picture quality. The output down sampled to 1080p is really very good, with a much better HD picture than my last Canon HV30 camcorder. Although the camers supports several resolutions I am recording only in 4K. I don't have a 4K set yet but surely will one day and then these 4K pictures will really shine. I have camcorder footage from way back in 1990 (taken on an 8mm Sony TR55 Handicam) when the resolution was a mere 576 high X 320 wide ! Nevertheless videos from that time are very wonderful for me to watch. Priceless memories! Imagine had a 4K (2160 X 3840 wide) image been available to me then? The moral is always shoot the best image possible. In years to come you will be glad you did! Other points: Fast start up from off - 2-3 sec. Battery life is excellent (> 2 hours). And WiFi remote control by iPhone works well. The widest 4K zoom angle is 29mm (35mm equivalent), but it would be nice for it to have been a little wider (some cameras reach 25mm). The AXP-33 is quite a bit heavier than recent typical HD camcorders, and therefore a bit tiring to hold, but the image quality is worth it. Finally I really miss a live "data" display of the aperture/shutter speed/gain currently in use by the camera. As far as I can tell this is only visible on playback. I have had this live display before on other cameras and I found it very useful. The AX100 does have this feature so Sony choose to omit it I suppose. In conclusion overall I think this will be a hit camera for Sony. Bravo !.

I owned an older 1080 Sony camcorder and wanted to see the difference between the two. In reality there is no comparison. The codec is superior, the lens quality is superior, all resulting in an absolutely crisp image. There are some good manual controls not found on cheaper models, including manual zoom, manual exposure, screen touch spot focus to name a few. There is one programmable button that can be configured to access one of these as a quick access. It would have been nice to have a couple more. The eyepiece viewfinder is a great addition in bright sunlight as the screen is sometimes difficult to see in bright sunlight. Projector I thought was going to be a gimmick and never used, but its a great addition. Its not just a 'wow' feature but actually useful. PROS * Excellent image quality * Excellent image stabilisation, although don't expect miracles * Good array of additional features * Good battery life * Nice size for the consumer market. You don't feel like a geek when videoing the school play * Price vs quality is definitely worth paying * Nice connectivity with built in USB cable CONS: * Slow to configure manual settings through menu system on camera. Will probably speed up when location in menu becomes second nature * Seems to slightly over expose in bright conditions. Would have liked a ND option. Can manually knock down the exposure if wanted though * Screen could be brighter and larger * WIFI options seem an after-thought

j'ai acheté cet appareil il y a 15 jours, Pour l'instant je n'ai pas encore exploré toutes ses fonctionnalités et encore moins en 4K. Toutefois il parait particulièrement ergonomique , pardonne beaucoup d'erreurs par ses automatismes et son stabilisateur intégré. J'ai encore beaucoup à explorer, mais le fais en confiance, avec un appareil qui est amical.

Great Boss stabilization everything else hmm..

This camera has a nice build and is fairly unchanged to my Sony CX700E handycam I used to have. The Boss stabilization is the best feature, the small sensor sadly lets this camera down big time. Also the lack of 4k 50p output is disappointing. After a few weeks with this model I sent it back as felt the image quality and colours seemed disappointing and washed out. My other 4k camera produces better quality footage but that does not have great stabilization like Sony. Will wait for a future model.

Le pondría alguna pega, tengo otra cámara Sony y los accesorios que compre para esa cámara, no son compatibles, la zapata es diferente y el cable para Av no es compatible. Deberían sacar algún cable adaptador para utilizar los accesorios de otros modelos de sony

Namastè! la sto utilizzando da qualche settimana ed è molto interessante. Buona sensibilità audio e video. Unico problema riscontrato è che l'usb è inusabile per scaricare i video perché troppo lenta servirebbe almeno usb3 o altra interfaccia veloce anche in considerazione che i file sono di decine di GByte. I have recently filmed about 20 hours over a period of 4 days. The quality of pictures and sound is very good. I filmed mostly in HD, with only about 2 hours in 4K. All the HD footage transferred very easily from the SD cards to my Panasonic BlyRay recorder, but it will not accept the HD footage. All the footage transferred to Play Memories using a SD card reader. The projection facility proved useful for reviewing the footage on the hotel wall. Very pleased so far, but I will avoid use of 4K until I have found a way of transferring it to my BluRay recorder.
