me han durado 5 años, los compré en 2016 y se me han roto en 2021 (el acolchado de por dentro, el sonido no, siguen funcionando). Lo único que tienen que es medianamente bueno es el ''extra bass function'', pero nada más, la calidad de sonido es igual o peor que unos auriculares normales de telefóno de 5 o 10€ de estos de móvil o los que te vienen con el mismo teléfono cuando lo compras, pero claro, estos te cuestan 50€ (a mi me salieron más baratos porque pillé una oferta en el Carrefour). Por este precio mejor te compras otros auriculares Over-Ear, o unos de 5 o 10€ de móvil o el mismo que te viene con el teléfono normalmente ya te vale. Eso sí, los over-ear te van a costar un poco más caro, pero merece la pena gastar un poco más por más calidad. He de decir también que yo ODIO los auriculares On-Ear como estos, no los debería haber comprado, pero bueno, han sido los mejores On-Ear que he tenido eso sí. 7/10.

I bought these headphones years ago for travel and they continue to perform well after all this time. The ear pads are comfortable, but after a couple years the stitching on the inside came away on one side. The only two issues I have is that the top of the headband is hard plastic, and while durable, it is not comfortable for extended wear. I have a shaved head and it would leave a mark. As well, the microphone is always on unless you hold mute. I would prefer a toggle, since I play online video games and do not want my mic always on. I can control it from the game but I would prefer to control from headphones. Unfortunately, since these headphones are so old, replacing them with a wireless version is more cost effective now. I will be looking at choosing another Sony model most likely, but with over-ear noise cancelling and wireless bluetooth capabilities. These headphones have not yet kicked the bucket, so I am not going to replace them yet.

After spending sometime reading and researching for good sounding headphones without paying a fortune, I settled on the MDR XB450AP and couldn't be happier. These are not easily found as they seemed replaced by the XB550AP which many will say don't sound as good as the 450. I don't have an opinion on the 550 but these 450 are incredible. They are very comfortable despite not having padding on the top headband and built wise, they seem very well made. About the sound, I have to admit that straight out of the box, I was a bit disappointed as they were a bit too bass heavy and took away from the mids and highs. Once I spent 2 min tweaking the equalizer of my source, these headphones came to life! They have a nice warm and rich sound, a very deep and tight bass response and brings enjoyment to listening to quality recording. They are revealing, so if you play poorly recorded material, you will notice quickly! If you can get your hands on a set, you will not regret it.
