I bought an immaculate secondhand grip. First impressions are it is taller compared to the Nikon ones I was used to. This is because the batteries are mounted on their edge rather than than on their back. Otherwise it gives a useful camera shooting time before having to change batteries. Nice to have the vertical controls too.

Dieser Griff passt n i c h t für die A7iv, da er nicht bündig an das Kameragehäuse passt. Er wackelt & manchmal bekommt die Kamera auch keinen Saft. Für die A7iv scheint es also k e i n e n aktuellen (SONY-)Batteriehandgriff zu geben. Schade, jetzt liegt er rum & die Retoure-Frist ist abgelaufen. Rein vom Material & vom Design her wäre der Griff super, also wenn er denn passen würde... Es ist nicht nachzuvollziehen, warum es keinen Griff für die A7iv gibt..

Ganz klar, wenn man Hochformat Portraits macht, dann ist dieser Zusatzgriff gut. Für Breitformat-Aufnahmen macht dies die Kamera klobig. Das Problem, dass mein Akku leer war, hatte ich noch nie, auch nicht nach 600 bis 700 Aufnahmen. D.h., den Zusatzakku mitführen müsste ich eigentlich nicht, aber dies bietet sich bei diesem Zusatz-Stück design-technisch an.

no lo recomiendo, ¿como puede ser que sony no compruebe que sus productos funcionan y son compatibles correctamente? pues eso, el grip no encaja en la ILCE-7RM5 (A7RV) se queda un espacio entre la base de la camara y el grip, un espacio donde puede entrar agua, polvo, forzar el agarre... y no, no hay solucion por parte de Sony a coste 0 porque es un error garrafal por parte de ellos.

Die Kamera greift sich nun leicht und sicher, besonders im Hochformat ergibt sich zusätzliche Griffsicherheit und Bedienungskomfort. Alle Bedien-Knöpfe sind schnell und leicht erreichbar, der Griff kuppelt perfekt mit dem Kamerabody. Das Einsetzen und Entfernen der Akkus ist ein Kinderspiel. Der Griff wertet die Kamera auf ein professionelles Niveau auf und ist somit fast unverzichtbar wann man am Set vernünftig arbeiten möchte. Das hat leider dann auch seinen Preis, aber Premiumservice will halt bezahlt sein. Ich habe für alle meine Sony Kameras einen Original-Haltegriff und habe mich im Fotoalltag immer darauf verlassen können.

Ich finde diese Erweiterung für die Kamera sehr nützlich wenn man viel im Hochformat aufnimmt. Die wichtigsten Knöpfe und Räder sind so gut zur Hand. Enttäuscht bin ich jedoch von der Qualität des Auslöseknopf: Er geht auf der einen Seite viel leichter als das Pedant an der Kamera, so dass man sich jedes Mal umgewöhnen muss - wie oft habe ich anfangs versehentlich ausgelöst, obwohl ich nur die erste Stufe (fokussieren) auswählen wollte. Auf der anderen Seite scheint er nicht sehr gut isoliert zu sein - es passiert mir öfters, dass der Knopf blockiert ist, Ursache ist dann jeweils ein Fremdkörper (leichtes Klopfen über Kopf hilft). Da sehe ich noch Potential.

Sony macht nur noch Müll. Cashback funktioniert nicht, man sitzt Stunden davor und dann stürzt das System ab. Der Telefonsupport: Hilfsarbeiter die kaum richtig Deutsch sprechen und eher frechschnäuzig und inkompetent sind, permanent vertrösten. Ich habe fertig mit Sony. meine nächstes Produkt ist wieder Canon oder Nikon. irgendwann reicht es dann wenn man die Nase richtig voll hat.

As the title says but, it doesn't fit very well, there is a visible gap between the body and the grip which you can see through. I have tightened the screw as much as I can - which is quite a lot - pressed down when I tighten the screw but it's still there and I get some slight movement when I hold the grip vertically. My Nikon grips fitted much more snuggly and firmly?? I hope this doesn't affect the weather sealiing!

Völlig unbrauchbar mit Sony Alpha 7IV

Leider ist der VG-C4EM in Verbindung mit der Sony Alpha 7IV in keinster Form verwendbar. Wie auf dem Foto ersichtlich lässt sich der Griff nur mit einem erheblichen Spaltmaß am Gehäuse montieren - was dazu führt das keine stabile Verbindung zwischen Kamera und Handgriff hergestellt werden kann! Der Griff wackelt nach der Montage so stark, das Langzeitaufnahmen unmöglich werden. Der gleiche Griff an einer Sony Alpha 7RIV weißt kein Spaltmaß und kein Wackeln auf. Der Service, Support und extrem unfreundliche Service der Firma Sony (Geissler) verweißt darauf, dass es sich um Toleranzmaße handeln würde. Davon ausgehend kann man vom Kauf der Kamera, sowie des Handgriffs nur abraten.

Purchased this grip for my Sony A7 iv. I originally had a non-Sony one which although worked well wasn't man enough when it came to using a tripod as I specifically bought the A7 iv with video in mind. Great piece of kit- I wouldn't be without it.

Bought the battery grip to accompany my new Sony A1 caers along with 200-600mm g lens and 400mm. The grip is a must for large lenses and aids balance perfectly. The build quality is almost the same as the camera and contours are perfect plus enabling longer battery time as the use of two batteries proling times between charges.

…leider noch teurer als das Vorgängermodell zu meiner Alpha 7R2. Und dass Sony weder ein vernünftiges Ladegerät für die Akkus noch zumindest einen zweiten Akku zum Griff spendiert ist traurig. Eigentlich mit dem Produkt alles richtig gemacht und dann durch sparen am falschen Ende den geschätzten Kunden schnell noch in die Zubehörliste gelotst. Bei diesem UVP sehr dreist. Schade.

Durch den Griff besteht die Möglichkeit Große Objektive an der Kamera besser zu handeln. Wenn man alles etwas kleiner haben will Könner sehr abgemacht werden. Eine gute Lösung. Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut.

Ein Batteriegriff bietet viele Vorteile. Man hat mehr Akku-Kapazität zur Verfügung, die Kamera wird stabilisiert und man kann so das Gegengewicht von schweren Objektiven besser ausgleichen, da sich die Balance verbessert. Die Kamera lässt sich auch besser tragen. Einziger Nachteil ist, dass die Kamera dadurch insgesamt schwerer wird.
