Unable to view a specific Internet video channel

Check the following if the connection times out or if you are unable to play a specific Internet video channel.

IMPORTANT: If more than one Internet Video station is not working, make sure that the proper steps have been followed to access an internet video channel .

    1. Test the speed  of the Internet connection being used.

      NOTES:

      • A minimum Internet connection speed of 2.5 Mbps or higher is required for standard-definition (SD) programming.
      • A minimum Internet connection speed of 10 Mbps or higher is required for high-definition (HD) programming.
      • Internet speed can be affected, if others in the home are using a computer to view movies, performing large downloads or play online games.
    2. Try using a different Internet video channel that offers SD programming and does not require a subscription, purchase or rental. The YouTube channel or the Crackle Internet movie station are stations that offer this type of content.
    3. Some of the Internet video channels do not support a proxy connection. Disable the proxy settings and try again.

If the Internet connection test results in a supported speed and other Internet content does play successfully, it would be an indication that the desired Internet channel may be temporarily down. We recommend trying the station at a later time.
