Can I adjust the Audio Rec Level when a microphone compatible with multi interface shoe is used?

IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products and/or operating systems. Check Applicable Products and Categories for details.

You cannot adjust the recording audio volume on the camera if a multi-interface shoe compatible microphone is being used. The option to adjust the Audio Rec Level of the camera is available only when using the internal microphone or an external microphone is connected to the microphone jack of the camera.

When using a microphone compatible with an XLR adaptor (XLR-K1M, XLR-K2M, XLR-K3M, etc.) or a multi-interface shoe-compatible microphone with a volume adjustment function, use the volume adjustment function on the XLR adaptor or the external microphone to change the recording volume.
