Drive sound is heard when power zoom is used while recording a video with a SELP18105G or SELP18200 lens
These lenses meets the standards for our company lenses. However, the drive sound may be heard loudly, depending on the combination of the zoom speed settings on the camera and on the lens.
The drive sound can be reduced by slowing the zoom speed. Slide the zoom speed switch to L (low) if necessary.
If your camera is equipped with a shoe for accessories, you can reduce the drive sound considerably by using an external microphone. An external microphone is placed at a greater distance from the lens, which can reduce the drive sound considerably.
