Is the location information recorded when using the Live-View remote?

The GPS log and the location information will not be recorded if the camera and the supplied Live-View Remote are not connected via Wi-Fi, or if the Live-View Remote is turned off.

To record the GPS logs and the location information, make sure that the Live-View Remote is turned on and connected to the camera via Wi-Fi.

NOTES:

• The GPS information will only be recorded after the Wi-Fi connection has been established.
• GPS logs and the location information will not be recorded if the Live-View Remote is connected to a Handycam camcorder via Wi-Fi connection.
