Where can I find the model and serial numbers of my In-Car head unit or multimedia system?

    The model and serial numbers can be found on the device itself or in the bar code on the original box.

    Examples of correct model names are: RSX-GS9 | MEX-N4100BT | WX-800UI

    • On most head units, the model name is displayed on the frame of the unit's detachable front panel. The serial number (2) can often be found at the back (mostly for models with BT or NFC)

    Chassis

    • Some models may require that you dismount the unit to find the label with these numbers, on the chassis of the unit:

    • Finally, labels like the one in the below example can be found on the product's original box, and will also display these numbers
