My Sony Android OLED TV switches to screen saver mode. Only "BRAVIA" is displayed.

    To protect the TV from image retention, a screen saver is activated if your OLED TV is idle for a certain period of time.

    When the screen saver is activated, only the "BRAVIA" logo is displayed in the bottom right area of the screen, as shown in the image below.


    The screen saver is cancelled and returns to the previous screen when the remote control is operated.

    Follow the steps to change the screen saver run time depending on the operating system of your TV.

    Android™ 7.0 Nougat or higher OS

    1. Press the HOME button on the supplied remote control.
    2. Select  Settings.*
    3. The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
      • Select Device Preferences → Screen saver → When to start(Android 9)
      • Select Screen saver → When to start(Android 8.0, Android 7.0)
    4. Select from the following time:
      • 5 minutes / 15 minutes / 30 minutes / 1 hour / 2 hours

    Android 6.0 Marshmallow

    1. Press the HOME button on the supplied remote control.
    2. Select  Settings.
    3. Select Daydream in the TV category.
    4. Select When to daydream.
    5. Select from the following time:
      • 5 minutes / 10 minutes / 15 minutes / 30 minutes / 1 hour

    NOTE: Sony recommends setting the run time to 5 minutes to avoid image retention and extend the panel lifetime.
