Sony has made some changes to its personal data collection practices and updated its privacy policies so that they are clearer for our customers. Please click here to access the updated Privacy notices. 

Historically we have improved our TVs, applications and device settings by analysing customer use patterns. To do this, we collected and used TV application and remote control use data (such as frequency of application use, remote keys presses, audio/visual format, picture, sound and system settings and type and number of connected devices (e.g. USB, HDMI)). However, we have stopped analysing them as of July 2016. 

On 1st January 2018, Sony Visual Products Inc, became the data controller in respect of Bravia televisions. Our representative in the EU is Sony Europe Limited, whose business address is The Privacy Office, The Heights, Brooklands, Weybridge, Surrey KT13 0XW, United Kingdom.
