Ceiling speakers or Dolby Atmos speakers do not output sound, even if the DTS decoder is set to Neural:X.

What is Neural:X?
Neural:X is the latest upmixing technology from DTS that expands the stereo 5.1 and 7.1 channel to multi-channel. It can be played on multi-channel speakers, including height speakers.
It is a specification that Neural:X is not enabled for DTS sources with sampling frequencies between 96 kHz and 192 kHz. It means that no sound will be output from the ceiling speakers or Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers.
Set the sound fields of the receiver to Dolby Surround.
If you set the sound fields of the receiver to Dolby Surround, then sound will output from the ceiling speakers or Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers.
How to enable Neural:X?
Follow these steps to enable Neural:X on the connected device. Check your device manual for model-specific information.
- Make sure to use an HDMI® cable to connect the device to your soundbar or Multi-Channel A/V receiver.
- Set the audio channel settings to LPCM or Dolby other than DTS.
- Set the audio output settings to LPCM.
