Removal of software update downloads for older TV models – 7 January 2022
Thank you for your continued interest in Sony products.
Please note that as of 7 January 2022 it will no longer be possible to download software updates for some older TV models from Sony’s support website. This decision is in line with Sony’s security policy regarding software update maintenance.
You can view a table with the applicable models here.
- If you are currently using one of the affected models and your TV software version has not been updated to the latest version specified on Sony’s support website, please download the latest software/firmware for your TV before 7 January 2022.
- If the current software version on your TV is the same or higher than the latest version specified on Sony’s support website, your TV is already running the latest software and an update is not required.
