Rakuten TV discontinued on some Sony TVs (2012-2016 models) and Blu-Ray devices (2012-2018 models) - 3 December 2021

On 3 December 2021, Rakuten TV will remove its streaming app from some Sony TVs and Blu-Ray devices (see applicable models). The Rakuten TV app will remain available on the affected devices until 3 December 2021. For more information on this decision, please visit the rakuten.tv website.
Applicable TV models
- 2012 BRAVIA models: EX55*, EX65*, HX75*, HX85*, HX95* and X90** Series
- 2013 BRAVIA models: W60*A, W65*A, W68*A, W80*A, W85*A and W90*A, X85**A, X90**A, and S99*A Series
- 2014 non-Android models: S90B, X85B, X90B, X95B, W58B, W60B, W70B, W80B, W85B and W95B Series
- 2015 non-Android models: R55*C, R50*C and W70C Series
- 2016 non-Android models: WD6 and WD75 Series
