Repair - Ireland Tablet Repair

    We are sorry to hear of the issues that you are having with your Sony Xperia handset.

    From the issues that you have described we would suggest that you send your handset to our service location to be examined by an authorised service engineer. The turnaround time for this process is currently on average 5-7 working days, from when the repair centre receives the handset. We offer apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

    Before sending your handset to our repair centre could you please respond to this Email with the IMEI number of the handset you are sending to our repair centre as this will allow us to track it once at our repair centre should you require any updates. The IMEI number can be located on the underside of the handset where the battery is inserted; this will begin with 35 or 01 and be 15 digits in length. We would also suggest making a note of the IMEI number for your own reference.

    Place your handset in a Jiffy bag and send it to the above address obtaining a Proof of Postage receipt. Please ensure you do not send your original box or documents as these may be damaged in transit and may not be returned.

    Please ensure you do send your charger and battery along with the handset so our engineers can examine these accessories but do not send your SIM card or battery cover. We would suggest you only send in your memory stick if it could be related to the fault.

    Please send a copy of your proof of purchase along with the handset in the Jiffy bag, if you do not have a copy of your proof of purchase we will endeavour to validate the handset warranty. Should we not be able to do this we will contact you to supply further information regarding the Proof of Purchase.

    Please note that if the damage is not covered by the Sony Limited Warranty, there may be a fee to have your product returned should you not accept the estimated costs for repair. We would be unable to confirm whether the product is covered by warranty or not until it has been fully examined by an authorised engineer at our service location.
