How are the two USB Type-C® terminals used?

USB Type-C terminal (CHARGE):

You can charge your device using a USB Type-C cable. To charge your device, make sure to use a charger or AC adaptor that supports USB Power Delivery (USB PD).

USB Type-C terminal (Data transfer):

You can connect a USB Type-C cable to this terminal to charge your device, perform data transfer, or connect a Display Port compatible monitor, etc.

Note: You can charge your device with the USB Type-C terminal (CHARGE) while you are transferring data with the USB Type-C terminal (Data transfer). However, you cannot charge your device with the two USB Type-C terminals simultaneously.
