What cameras can I use with a video chat app on a Google TV™?

Refer to the Applicable Products and Categories section of this article for a list of supported TVs.

Officially supported cameras

Connect one of the cameras listed below to your BRAVIA TV with a USB cable to use the camera as a webcam.

Sony BRAVIA Cam models:

• CMU-BC1
• CMU-BC1M (included with select TV models)

• These cameras work with BRAVIA TV models from 2022 to 2025 (excluding the following series: BRAVIA 3 (S30), BRAVIA 2 (S20), BRAVIA 2 II (S20M2), W8x5_W8x6, W8L, X64L_X70L_X74L_X75L, X77L_X78L, W8K and X74K_X75K series)
• Make sure your TV is updated to the latest software version.
• Google Meet support ended in March 2025.
• Some video chat apps may work with a USB camera for Android™, but Sony does not guarantee compatibility.
• Video chat apps can be installed and may work on BRAVIA TV models not listed above, but Sony does not guarantee this.
