How to set the default music app in the Google Assistant app

    Set the default music app for Google Assistant

    Note:  Due to the changes Google has made to the Google Assistant feature, linking headphones to the Google Assistant app for iOS has been discontinued. 

    Follow these steps to set the default music app in the Google Assistant app:

    1. Press and hold the smartphone's Home button to start the Google Assistant app.
    2. Tapcompasson the upper right side of the screen.
    3. In the upper right corner of the screen, tapmore icon(three vertical dots), then tap Settings.
    4. Scroll down and tap Music.
    5. Select the desired app.
