This video introduces the TA-AN1000 AV Amplifier, starting with a series of product images and close-ups of the front panel interface, including the twin control dials, dedicated function buttons, and status display. 

360 Spatial Sound Mapping and Digital Cinema Auto Calibration IX features highlight the precision immersive sound and multiple phantom speakers which can be produced, alongside Dolby Atmos® and DTS:X® compatibility. 

Images of the rear of the product show the wide range of connectivity options, including the 6-in/2-out HDMI ports with support for up to 8K or 4K120 and IMAX Enhanced, Dolby Vision, HLG and HDR 10 video sources. 

High quality audio formats are also supported, including 360 Reality Audio, Hi-Res, Hi-Res Wireless and DSD. The AN1000 is shown connected to a compatible BRAVIA TV, with the Acoustic Centre Sync0 1 feature repositioning the audio source across both the TV and center speaker for perfect alignment with on-screen images. 

Finally, a range of wireless features are presented, including support for optional Sony wireless rear speakers and subwoofers, and compatibility with wireless audio streaming using Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi for Apple AirPlay 2, Works with SONOS, Roon Tested, Spotify Connect, and Chromecast built-in. Voice and app control is supported via the Google Assistant and Sony Music Center.

D.C.A.C. IX ingeniously measures the height and position of each speaker with a calibration microphone.

The AN1000 features 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology to draw you into your entertainment like never before. Based on the positional information measured by D.C.A.C. IX, multiple phantom speakers are generated all around you, for an entirely new sound sensation, so you can experience all the drama of Dolby Atmos® and DTS:X® alongside every breath, step and word like you're right inside the film.

High quality visuals

See vivid scenes full of real-life colour and depth. All of the original picture quality is preserved when played through the AN1000, so you’ll be completely immersed in movies. Gaming is also much more thrilling and realistic, with support for the latest formats, such as Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) in HDMI 2.1.
