The camera does not recognize a macro scene when using an A-mount lens with the LA-EA2 or LA-EA4 mount adapter.

The camera must first be in the Intelligent Auto mode. Afterwards, the camera recognizes a macro scene and the Macro icon appears when the shutter button is pressed halfway down and the subject is in focus.
