How to connect your Sony Party Streaming device to the same wireless home network.

    Network Speaker


    Option 1: Manual wireless setup

    1. Check whether your computer and wireless LAN router are turned on
    2. Make sure your computer is connected to your home network via the wireless LAN router.
    3. Connect the speaker and the wireless LAN router using a network (LAN) cable.
    4. Turn the speaker on.
    5. Using your computer, click My Network or Network and then SA-NS300. The Sony Network Device Setting screen appears.
    6. Select the desired language when the "Language Setup" screen appears.
    7. Select Network Settings from the menu.
    8. Enter the SSID of your home network, then select the security method. Select Apply.
    9. Select OK when the confirmation screen of the pop-up window appears.
    10. Disconnect the speaker and the wireless LAN router following the on-screen instructions.
    11. The speaker restarts automatically, then the LINK indicator lights up in green when the connection is made.

    Option 2: WPS push button configuration method

    1. Check whether the network (LAN) cable is disconnected from the speaker.
    2. Turn the speaker on.
    3. Press the WPS button on the wireless LAN router.
    4. Presarticles the WPS button on the speaker for three seconds.
    5. The LINK indicator lights up in green when the connection is made.

    Option 3: PIN method

    1. Make sure your computer is connected to your home network via the wireless LAN router.
    2. Check whether your computer and wireless LAN router are turned on.
    3. Connect the speaker and the wireless LAN router using a network (LAN) cable.
    4. Turn the speaker on.
    5. Using your computer, click My Network or Network and then SA-NS300. The Sony Network Devices screen appears.
    6. Select the desired language when the "Language Setup" screen appears.
    7. Select Network Settings from the menu.
    8. Enter the SSID of your home network.
    9. Select PIN method, then click Start. An eight-digit number (PIN code) appears on the screen.
    10. Enter the speaker's PIN code and select OK.
    11. Disconnect the network (LAN) cable, following the on-screen instructions. The unit restarts automatically, then the LINK indicator lights up in green when the connection is made.

    Option 4: DHCP method

    1. Check whether your computer and router are turned on.
    2. Connect the speaker and the router using a network (LAN) cable.
    3. Connect the router and your computer using a second network (LAN) cable.
    4. Turn the speaker on. The LINK indicator lights up in amber when the connection is made.

    Option 5: Fixed IP method.

    1. Make sure your computer is connected to your home network via the wireless LAN router.
    2. Set the DHCP setting of your computer and the router to ON.
    3. Connect the router and the speaker using a network (LAN) cable.
    4. Check whether your computer and router are turned on.
    5. Turn the speaker on.
    6. Click My Network or Network and then SA-NS300. The Sony Network Device Setting screen appears.
    7. Select the desired language when the "Language Setup" screen appears.
    8. Select Network Settings from the menu.
    9. Remove the checkmark in the check box beside Automatic Setup, then input the required information for each item and select Apply.
    10. Select OK when the confirmation screen of the pop-up window appears. The speaker restarts automatically, then the LINK indicator lights up in amber when the connection is made.
    11. Set the DHCP setting of your computer and router to OFF again.

    Micro Hi-Fi System


    Option 1: Manual wireless setup

    1. Press HOME NETWORK to select the Home Network function.
    2. Press the up and down arrow keys to select Network then press ENTER.
    3. Press the up and down arrow keys to select Settings then press ENTER.
    4. Press the up and down arrow keys to select Wireless LAN Settings then press ENTER.
    5. Press the up and down arrow keys to select Access Point Scan then press ENTER.
    6. Press up and down to select the desired network name (SSID), then press ENTER.
    7. Enter the security key (WEP key, WPA/WPA2 key), then press ENTER.
    8. On the IP setting, press the up and down arrow keys to select Auto, then press ENTER.
    9. On the proxy setting, press the up and down arrow keys to select Do Not Use, then press ENTER.
    10. Press the up and down arrow keys to select OK then press ENTER.
    11. The system is connected when 'Complete!' is displayed on the screen.

    Option 2: WPS push button method

    1. Press HOME NETWORK to select the Home Network function.
    2. Press the up and down arrow keys to select Network then press ENTER.
    3. Press the up and down arrow keys to select Settings then press ENTER.
    4. Press the up and down arrow keys to select Wireless LAN Settings then press ENTER.
    5. Press the up and down arrow keys to select WPS Push then press ENTER.
    6. Push the WPS button on your router within 2 minutes.
    7. The system is connected when 'Complete!' is displayed on the screen.

    Option 3: WPS PIN method

    1. Press HOME NETWORK to select the Home Network function.
    2. Press the up and down arrow keys to select Network then press ENTER.
    3. Press the up and down arrow keys to select Settings then press ENTER.
    4. Press the up and down arrow keys to select Wireless LAN Settings then press ENTER.
    5. Press the up and down arrow keys to select WPS PIN then press ENTER.
    6. Press the up and down arrow keys to select the desired network name (SSID) then press ENTER.
    7. Input the system PIN code into the wireless LAN router/access point.
    8. The system is connected when 'Complete!' is displayed on the screen

    Blu-ray Disc Player


    Option 1: Wired Setup

    1. Use a LAN cable to connect the LAN terminal on the player to a network router.
    2. Select HOME on the remote control.
    3. Use the left and right arrow keys to find Setup.
    4. Use the up and down arrow keys to find Network Settings.
    5. Use the up and down arrow keys to find Internet Settings.
    6. Select Wired Setup.
    7. Follow the on screen instructions to connect to your home network.

    Option 2: USB Wireless Setup

    1. Turn off the player and connect the USB Wireless LAN Adapter to the USB jack on the front or rear of the player.
    2. Turn on the player and select HOME on the remote control.
    3. Use the left and right arrow keys to find Setup.
    4. Use the up and down arrow keys to find Network Settings.
    5. Use the up and down arrow keys to find Internet Settings.
    6. Select USB Wireless Setup.
    7. Follow the on screen instructions to connect to your home network.

    Option 3: Wireless Setup (built in Wi-Fi models only)

    1. Select HOME on the remote control.
    2. Use the left and right arrow keys to find Setup.
    3. Use the up and down arrow keys to find Network Settings.

    5. Select Wireless Setup (built in)
    6. Follow the on screen instructions to connect to your home network.
