How to connect your Sony Party Streaming device to the same wireless home network.
Option 1: Manual wireless setup
- Check whether your computer and wireless LAN router are turned on
- Make sure your computer is connected to your home network via the wireless LAN router.
- Connect the speaker and the wireless LAN router using a network (LAN) cable.
- Turn the speaker on.
- Using your computer, click My Network or Network and then SA-NS300. The Sony Network Device Setting screen appears.
- Select the desired language when the "Language Setup" screen appears.
- Select Network Settings from the menu.
- Enter the SSID of your home network, then select the security method. Select Apply.
- Select OK when the confirmation screen of the pop-up window appears.
- Disconnect the speaker and the wireless LAN router following the on-screen instructions.
- The speaker restarts automatically, then the LINK indicator lights up in green when the connection is made.
Option 2: WPS push button configuration method
- Check whether the network (LAN) cable is disconnected from the speaker.
- Turn the speaker on.
- Press the WPS button on the wireless LAN router.
- Presarticles the WPS button on the speaker for three seconds.
- The LINK indicator lights up in green when the connection is made.
Option 3: PIN method
- Make sure your computer is connected to your home network via the wireless LAN router.
- Check whether your computer and wireless LAN router are turned on.
- Connect the speaker and the wireless LAN router using a network (LAN) cable.
- Turn the speaker on.
- Using your computer, click My Network or Network and then SA-NS300. The Sony Network Devices screen appears.
- Select the desired language when the "Language Setup" screen appears.
- Select Network Settings from the menu.
- Enter the SSID of your home network.
- Select PIN method, then click Start. An eight-digit number (PIN code) appears on the screen.
- Enter the speaker's PIN code and select OK.
- Disconnect the network (LAN) cable, following the on-screen instructions. The unit restarts automatically, then the LINK indicator lights up in green when the connection is made.
Option 4: DHCP method
- Check whether your computer and router are turned on.
- Connect the speaker and the router using a network (LAN) cable.
- Connect the router and your computer using a second network (LAN) cable.
- Turn the speaker on. The LINK indicator lights up in amber when the connection is made.
Option 5: Fixed IP method.
- Make sure your computer is connected to your home network via the wireless LAN router.
- Set the DHCP setting of your computer and the router to ON.
- Connect the router and the speaker using a network (LAN) cable.
- Check whether your computer and router are turned on.
- Turn the speaker on.
- Click My Network or Network and then SA-NS300. The Sony Network Device Setting screen appears.
- Select the desired language when the "Language Setup" screen appears.
- Select Network Settings from the menu.
- Remove the checkmark in the check box beside Automatic Setup, then input the required information for each item and select Apply.
- Select OK when the confirmation screen of the pop-up window appears. The speaker restarts automatically, then the LINK indicator lights up in amber when the connection is made.
- Set the DHCP setting of your computer and router to OFF again.

- On the proxy setting, press the up and down arrow keys to select Do Not Use, then press ENTER.
- Press the up and down arrow keys to select OK then press ENTER.
- The system is connected when 'Complete!' is displayed on the screen.
Option 2: WPS push button method
- Press HOME NETWORK to select the Home Network function.
- Press the up and down arrow keys to select Network then press ENTER.
- Press the up and down arrow keys to select Settings then press ENTER.
- Press the up and down arrow keys to select Wireless LAN Settings then press ENTER.
- Press the up and down arrow keys to select WPS Push then press ENTER.
- Push the WPS button on your router within 2 minutes.
- The system is connected when 'Complete!' is displayed on the screen.

- Press HOME NETWORK to select the Home Network function.
- Press the up and down arrow keys to select Network then press ENTER.
- Press the up and down arrow keys to select Settings then press ENTER.
- Press the up and down arrow keys to select Wireless LAN Settings then press ENTER.
- Press the up and down arrow keys to select WPS PIN then press ENTER.
- Press the up and down arrow keys to select the desired network name (SSID) then press ENTER.
- Input the system PIN code into the wireless LAN router/access point.
- The system is connected when 'Complete!' is displayed on the screen

- Use the up and down arrow keys to find Internet Settings.
- Select USB Wireless Setup.
- Follow the on screen instructions to connect to your home network.
Option 3: Wireless Setup (built in Wi-Fi models only)
- Select HOME on the remote control.
- Use the left and right arrow keys to find Setup.
- Use the up and down arrow keys to find Network Settings.
- Use the up and down arrow keys to find Internet Settings.
- Select Wireless Setup (built in)
- Follow the on screen instructions to connect to your home network.
