What is Super Slow Motion?

    The Motion Eye camera in Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XZs, Xperia XZ1, Xperia XZ1 Compact, Xperia XZ2, Xperia XZ2 Compact, Xperia XZ3 and Xperia 1 allows you to record movies in Super slow motion.

    What is Super Slow Motion?

    Super Slow Motion records 960 frames per second, which means that Super Slow Motion lets you capture the action 32 times slower than in a regular movie. For the best result, make sure you record the movie in the right lighting conditions.

    Recording Super slow motion video

    Android 9.0

    To record Super slow motion video

    1. Activate the camera.
    2. Swipe to Video.
    3. Tap MODE → Slow motion.
    4. To start recording a video, tap the record button.
    5. Tap the Super Slow Motion clip button for a 0.18 sec Super Slow Motion clip. When the Super Slow Motion capturing is done, the Super Slow Motion clip button is disabled for 2 sec while the camera stores data. After this the button is enabled again.
    6. To stop recording, tap the stop button.

    Android 8.0

    To record Super slow motion video

    1. Activate the camera.
    2. Swipe to Video.
    3. To enable Super Slow Motion, tap the Super Slow Motion clip button.
    4. To start recording a video, tap the record button.
    5. Tap the Super Slow Motion clip button for a 0.18 sec Super Slow Motion clip. When the Super Slow Motion capturing is done, the Super Slow Motion clip button is disabled for 2 sec while the camera stores data. After this the button is enabled again.
    6. To stop recording, tap the stop button.
