How to change default applications on your Xperia
When performing a task on your Xperia device, such as opening a photo or tapping a link, you may receive a prompt to complete the action using a specific application. When you have selected an application, you have to choose either JUST ONCE or ALWAYS before the relevant application opens to complete the action. If you select ALWAYS, the selected application becomes the default application for a particular task.
If you want to change the default application for a specific task, you must clear the default settings.
Clear the default settings for an application
- Find and tap Settings → Apps & notifications → See all [number of apps] apps.
- Find and tap the application for which you want to clear the default settings.
- Tap Advanced → Open by default → CLEAR DEFAULTS.
