Marleen Visser is a Dutch food photographer & stylist and is best known for her minimalistic styled and natural looking images. Her journey into food photography began when she followed her heart to 'Do more of what made her happy'. This meant working with food and photography, culminating in her passion.

Marleen believes eye for detail is extremely important in her photography. She loves to create images that not only highlight the intricate details of dishes, but also evoke emotions and tell the story behind each culinary masterpiece. Her ideal studio setting, most of the time in her studio in Amsterdam, includes fresh produce or artisanal products. Over the years she has taken countless images of ice cream, bread, coffee, cupcakes, drinks, meals and other food or beverage products.

In addition to her commercial work, Marleen shares her expertise through coaching and workshops, inspiring other photographers and food enthusiasts. She works on art works and has written three cookbooks. She continues to push the boundaries of food photography, constantly exploring new techniques and trends. Her work not only celebrates the beauty of food but also the creativity and craftsmanship that go into its creation.
