An error occurs while trying to download new software resulting in a continuous upgrade loop
You may be experiencing an error while trying to download new software for your Sony's Android TV. This may cause your TV to trigger a continuous upgrade loop. We recommend that you use the following steps to resolve this problem:
- Try downloading the software via your TV - manually check for updates

- If WLAN is unsuccessful, try using a normal LAN connection
- If this doesn't work, try downloading the software from the Internet (unzip the file to an empty USB key). A "*.PKG" file should be visible in the root of the USB key
- Insert the USB key in the highest USB slot (for example USB 3)
- If that fails, try again using another USB key and a new downloaded version of the software
