The voice-enabled Amazon Alexa device suddenly no longer controls my TV

    If the voice commands from your voice-enabled Amazon Alexa device no longer controls your TV, it could be due to a Privacy Policy update. Please make sure to agree to the Privacy Policy for the TV Control Setup with Amazon Alexa app on your TV.

    The following message will be displayed after the Privacy Policy update: 
    "The Privacy Policy has changed. Please run TV Control Setup with Amazon Alexa to accept the changes." 

    Please agree to the new Privacy Policy by following the steps below:

    1. On your remote control, press the HOME button.
    2. Open the TV Control Setup with Amazon Alexa app.
      • Android™ 8.0 Oreo™ or later OS
        1. Press the Home button on the remote control.
        2. Select Apps.
        3. Select TV Control Setup with Amazon Alexa.
      • Android 7.0 Nougat OS
        1. Press the Home button on the remote control.
        2. Select TV Control Setup with Amazon Alexa in the Apps category.
    3. Scroll to the bottom of the Privacy Policy screen.
    4. Select Agree or Proceed.
    5. Make sure that you can control your TV using your Alexa-enabled device.
