BRAVIA Sync (HDMI CEC) cannot be performed for connected HDMI devices when using the Picture-in-picture feature
You cannot perform any BRAVIA Sync (HDMI CEC*) actions when a video from a connected HDMI device is displayed using the Picture-in-picture feature. This is an Android™ 8.0 specification.
To perform an action using BRAVIA Sync (HDMI CEC), turn off the Picture-in-picture feature:
- Press and hold the HOME button on the remote control.
- Select OPEN.
- Select Full screen.
